When Megatron enters Starscream's cell, he only briefly gets the other's attention before a bitter laugh escapes the jet. "Well if this isn't a familiar scenario..." Megatron doesn't find the humor in it. "You've holed yourself away again, Starscream." Starscream could only weakly scoff in turn, his once pristine frame creaked with rust as he moved. "And I suppose you're here to beat me within an inch of my life again... to tell me what a miserable failure I am as a leader. So cut whatever righteous speech you have planned and let's just get it over with." Megatron was taken aback, so Starscream still expected to be beaten. He didn't think the former Decepticon leader was capable of being good, of being redeemed. Something about this fact made Megatron's tanks churn as he continued to talk, his voice soft and gentle as he spoke to Starscream. "Do you really believe I am still the same person I was before?" There was just something about this scenario that made Megatron crave Starscream acknowledging his change. Megatron couldn't quite pin down why it felt so important to him that Starscream would see he was no longer the tyrant of their past. He wanted Starscream to look upon him and see that change. But Starscream never looked over at him like that, and instead he let out a mocking laugh. It didn't sound like most of Starscream's usual laughs though, this one sounded strained as he shook his head and covered his face as he finally turned to face the man behind all of his abuse and pain. His lips were twisted into a mix between a snarl and a grin, his sharp denta glinted slightly in the low-light of the brig's holding cell. "Oh save it Lord Megatron. I know that deep down, you don't believe you're worthy enough for that badge on your chest. Bots like us don't change... anyone that says so is fooling themself." A sharp digit pointing towards the red Autobot badge on Megatron's chest. He was angry to relent that Starscream was right, despite everything he'd done aboard the Lost Light, Megatron still didn't believe himself worthy of wearing the badge. He felt old rage begin to bubble back up to the surface, Starscream had that influence on people. He always seemed capable of reading a bot and being able to pick at a scab that never seemed to heal right. No matter how much time had passed, Starscream always seemed to know what ate away at Megatron's spark. He never seemed to shut up once he found it either. But he wouldn't let Starscream get under his plating, not this time. Not even when every fibre of Megatron's being wanted to punch the other in the mouth. He was better than that now, he would prove that to Starscream once and for all. And ever observant, Starscream pointed out the larger bot's tension and gestured to Megatron's entire being. "You forget, we fought together for millions of years. Even now I can tell the minute details of your body language, I can see you wish to punch me. To beat me and have me screaming for mercy, well no more. I'm tired, so either get your catharsis in, or let the rust eat away at me. I. Don't. Care." Megatron continued to tell himself, that Starscream couldn't get under his plating anymore. He wasn't the same bot that Starscream knew from before. He was better now.
"Even that lousy Bee knew I was a lost cause... not even he was as delusional." Everything seemed to stop for Megatron there, it was one thing for Starscream to badmouth him; it wasn't anything that the ex-warlord hadn't heard before. But now Starscream was mocking the memory of the kind autobot that Megatron was proud to call his friend, the bot primarily responsible for Megatron seeing the faults in his actions! That was taking it too far. [Tumblr is not happy about the size of this idea, lemme split it up again.] [Part 3]
Boosting along even if my voice is small. Personally I stopped supporting a lot of things, doing my best to separate from a lot of corporations. There may be a lot of companies that are pro-Israel, but please remember that these are the big guys to focus on! And keep pressuring companies like Starbucks to make change. Your voices matter, your dollar matters. Hit them where it hurts and do it together. When we have a target to focus on, we're better together. Be strong, don't let up for a moment, and even if time passes, keep screaming. We have the ability to make a change, to help our friends in Gaza however we can, whether it's donating e-sims so they can keep in contact, or it's by protesting and boycotting the corporations that defend and support genocide. Keep screaming my friends, keep hope.
Not so gentle reminder, that you’re going to have to stop drinking Starbucks and eating McDonald’s pretty much forever if this is actually going to work. The Montgomery bus boycott lasted for over a year. That means that people walked everywhere for over a year. This is going to require sacrifice. And I promise you it will work in the long run, especially as more people come on board, but this cannot just be a trend. Your resistance Hass to be continual and I know for me, every time I am further radicalized, I change the way I interact with the world and this is a beautiful time to think about changing the way you interact with the world
It is finally done!!! I have finally finished drawing the Seeker Crew!
What happens when a person with Covid decides to revisit an old fandom because they have nothing better to do?
Write fanfiction series about your favorite character getting therapy and being happy I guess.
I'm not sorry.
Made some classic design Tom drawings, hopefully this makes up for my lack of writing lmao, I’m having writers block and dyingggggggg! Also hope you guys enjoyed Halloween if you celebrated it, let’s try not to suffer too much with the incoming Christmas shit.
I didn't realize that this was a thing... but by god do I love it.
#it's funier to imagine all of the combaticons have no idea why Bruticus is obsessed with first aid#like individually they think First Aid is alright but once they all get together#oh boy what the fuck @gayrob0t
I've been thinking about this all week because it's so fucking FUNNY. Bruticus de-combines back to the Combaticons and Onslaught is just immediately grabbing each of them by the lapels and screaming "WHICH ONE OF YOU HAS A CRUSH ON FIRST AID" but they're all like "nah man he's not my type". Vortex gets the blame because he's a little weirdo but he adamantly denies it like "dude he doesn't even like blood, what kind of medic doesn't like blood"
Bruticus is effectively taken out of any battle by just gently placing First Aid within his visual range. Onslaught is losing his entire goddamn mind. The Decepticons come up with a variety of Ridiculous Schemes to kidnap and hide First Aid just so they can get Bruticus to fight instead of cooing over his favourite tiny medic
Horses r cool
My brain thought of Skystar angst.
Essentially the idea would be, Skyfire and Starscream get separated by the polar windstorm while they’re on Earth, Starscream goes searching for Skyfire and actually finds him!
Hooray! Right?
No.
Because Skyfire is already trapped in the ice by the time Starscream finds him, and instead of leaving the planet to get help, Starscream begins trying to claw Skyfire out of the ice by himself. The reason he doesn’t go get help is that he’s noticing that he can’t read Skyfire’s signal in the ice and is afraid if he leaves, he won’t remember where Skyfire’s buried. So he starts using his clawed servos and his thrusters to claw Skyfire out.
Unfortunately, that much strenuous activity with no ample source of energon is severely draining, and the cold is starting to really affect Starscream… he gets weaker and more tired. He eventually just gets so tired that his body shuts down and he tiredly mutters “Soon as I wake up Sky… I’ll get you out of there.”
Starscream never wakes up.
Now cut to millions of years later and the Autobots and Decepticons are on Earth and going through the events of “Fire in the Sky” only this time, Rumble’s little ‘cave-in’ not only reveals Skyfire, but also the frozen and greyed remains of of a seeker frame. The seeker corpse is left there to remain frozen in place, Megatron sees no use in him since he’s dead, he is however interested in Skyfire’s preserved body and thus they dig him out and shock his body back into the waking world.
I’d see Skywarp and Thundercracker not knowing who Skyfire was but they were brothers with Starscream and didn’t know where he was.. that is until they hear Skyfire calling out for Starscream and realized the seeker body that was found curled up and frozen near Skyfire was Starscream’s. The two seekers are in shambles after that and as Skyfire awakens, he is confused by the sight of all these strange new faces, he tries asking where Starscream is but Megatron stops him and tells him that it’s been millions of years since he was last awake, they saved his life from the ice and now Skyfire owes the Decepticon cause his life.
The events of the episode would follow but rather than Starscream’s betrayal to Skyfire, Thundercracker or Skywarp are the ones to shoot him because they ‘can’t believe someone so weak and softsparked would have outlived their brother.’
The Autobots save Skyfire from dying and while the Autobots and Decepticons do their usual battle, Skyfire is able to come across the spot he was excavated from and see the corpse of the one he loved so much, he’s overcome with grief and is left holding the greyed remains of his sparkmate before helping the Autobots defeat the Decepticons, and instead of Skyfire going back into the ice this time, he goes to warmer climates with the Autobots and lays Starscream in a beautiful meadow where the red flowers and grass can grow over him and lay him to rest in a beautiful and undisturbed location.
After watching Transformers One with my mother, I noticed something about Orion and D-16. There's an inherent tragedy to their characters. Like we all know the tragedy that is D-16's rise into Megatron, but I notice we seldom ever talk about Orion's fall into Optimus. Hear me out. Orion's entire arc is about Choice. He wants to be able to be more than a miner, he wants to choose his path and continues to make choices that are against protocol. Each choice he makes causes harm to those around him: His choice to save Jazz inadvertently caused Elita to be fired and thrown to waste disposal, His choice to run the Iacon-5000 with D-16 winds up in himself and D to be thrown into sub-level 50 where no one even knows that it exists, His choice to find the matrix on the surface winds up putting his friends into danger, them realizing their life was a lie, and starts D-16's full crash-out. Now these choices are both good and bad ones, I'm not going to deny that, but it does end up shifting on him and mirroring how D-16 goes from complacency to making his own choices. Each choice D makes, robs Orion of a choice as well.. just as Orion's choices often did the same. And what's worse is that after D-16 kills Orion and sends him off into the planet's core, he has effectively robbed Orion of any choice in the future. While D-16 gets to choose to kill Sentinel, gets to choose to take Megatronus' cog back, gets to choose a new name for himself... Orion gets none of these choices. Orion didn't choose to be shot by his best friend, he didn't choose to fall into the core of the planet, he didn't get the choice to accept or refuse the matrix of leadership, and he didn't even get to choose his name. Orion has been thrust into this duty, this responsibility. He has no choice in the matter. Optimus had no say in who he wanted to be, but he does choose something else. He chooses to fight for others to have that choice, and I think that's something neat. Anyways! Blah right? Haha, just another everyday ramble. Goodnight folks!!
