The war is over, Megatron has been slain at the hands of the Autobots. Shockwave had managed to pull Starscream away just before he jumped in to recklessly avenge his master.
The war is over now... At least to Starscream, now he has a few plans of his own once he calms down from the loss of Megatron: To regain his old frame, and to return to Earth and pick up someone left behind. As he does this plan, he will have the old memories he'd long since buried, resurface while he gains new bonds with an enemy and two others.

Been so inactive for a while now.. for good reason! I've been working on a multi chapter fanfic and it's finally done. I hate leaving people waiting on my fics, so I decided to finish writing the whole thing and I would post bit by bit. So every Friday, I'll be posting a new chapter on AO3, hopefully with some art to go with it! That's all! Hopefully my transformers followers will like it.
(Tfp) AU where Starscream becomes a sparkeater after the Predacons chew him a bit too much. And the rest of the Autobots have to babysit his condition for a while.
Not sold on his RID design, I like the way other people draw it but the og design from Prime is my favourite.
Had an absolute blast at TFcon 2025. With all the garbage in the world, it was good to just enjoy the moment and make new friends, share art, and get signatures from some of the coolest VA’s that I look up to. Thank you all for the fun memories and making my very first convention a blast.

I think I actually know what happened here. Originally, Hasbro wanted the Prime continuity to exist within the Live action Michael Bay movies, making an entire bible to follow and work off of. The Prime creators refused it and chucked it into the garbage. If I remember right, they really wanted to do their own thing but kept getting pushback from Hasbro to have it all tie into one of the other continuities if they weren't going to use the Bay films. Eventually near the end of the first season, they went with the Aligned continuity and I guess their continuity checker missed the GLARING plot-hole that was: A) Starscream had always known what Dark Energon was, he was a scientist that was STUDYING it in the games and was in charge of PROTECTING IT. B) Prime Starscream has no idea what this substance is and equates it to mere myth until he sees it with his own optics. C) Megatron empowers ALL THE DECEPTICONS with dark energon in the games, and poisons Primus' core with it. The writers of the show feasibly couldn't work with the other media in the Aligned continuity unless they had to bank on the idea that die-hard Transformer nerds wouldn't have played the WFC game series. Not to mention, they had to actually make secondary content like the novels and comics for this story to actually work. Basically to end this ramble: I'm pretty sure the Prime writers were trying to make an entirely different story, but due to studio meddling they had to forcibly shove their show into a continuity that didn't make a lick of sense with the preexisting content we had of Prime. Do I still like Prime? Yes. Do I seethe over the plot holes that come with this show being in this continuity? Absolutely.
Genuine question for those who think that the Aligned continuity doesn't exist: Do you also think that Transformers: Prime doesn't exist? Because there's a very big continuity error within it.
Remember when Megatron and Starscream were talking about Dark Energon as if it were a myth? In episode 2?
Yet, --in the season finale-- Ratchet tells us the past of Optimus and Megatron, how the war started (these are all taken from Transformers: Exodus) aaannddd we have this:
"Poisoning the planet to its core."
An event happened in both WFC and Exodus, in which Megatron used Dark Energon. And Dark Energon was referred to as the "Sparks of Unicron" in Exodus.
Had a sudden need for angst because of my TF friends( you know who you are)
So I've been thinking...
After watching Transformers One with my mother, I noticed something about Orion and D-16. There's an inherent tragedy to their characters. Like we all know the tragedy that is D-16's rise into Megatron, but I notice we seldom ever talk about Orion's fall into Optimus. Hear me out. Orion's entire arc is about Choice. He wants to be able to be more than a miner, he wants to choose his path and continues to make choices that are against protocol. Each choice he makes causes harm to those around him: His choice to save Jazz inadvertently caused Elita to be fired and thrown to waste disposal, His choice to run the Iacon-5000 with D-16 winds up in himself and D to be thrown into sub-level 50 where no one even knows that it exists, His choice to find the matrix on the surface winds up putting his friends into danger, them realizing their life was a lie, and starts D-16's full crash-out. Now these choices are both good and bad ones, I'm not going to deny that, but it does end up shifting on him and mirroring how D-16 goes from complacency to making his own choices. Each choice D makes, robs Orion of a choice as well.. just as Orion's choices often did the same. And what's worse is that after D-16 kills Orion and sends him off into the planet's core, he has effectively robbed Orion of any choice in the future. While D-16 gets to choose to kill Sentinel, gets to choose to take Megatronus' cog back, gets to choose a new name for himself... Orion gets none of these choices. Orion didn't choose to be shot by his best friend, he didn't choose to fall into the core of the planet, he didn't get the choice to accept or refuse the matrix of leadership, and he didn't even get to choose his name. Orion has been thrust into this duty, this responsibility. He has no choice in the matter. Optimus had no say in who he wanted to be, but he does choose something else. He chooses to fight for others to have that choice, and I think that's something neat. Anyways! Blah right? Haha, just another everyday ramble. Goodnight folks!!

There is a reason for the absolutely abysmal dubbing. The studio, if I remember correctly, was using first-pass translations for the show. This wasn't exactly considered the most popular thing. They just tried to rush the dubbing as much as possible to try and get an English-speaking audience. It's why we get that weird Mars episode where Starscream yells at the minicons to leave him alone and then 0.3 seconds later going "Even the minicons have abandoned me now.' First pass translation and trying to rush as much as humanly possible because just before this, you had the Transformers Beast Wars boom, so it was likely an attempt to keep fan hype going.
