Why?
Powerful narrative through image and stage direction. It is the perfect example to talk about artistic direction.
Why?
Powerful and creative satire, and it is so freaking funny, I love it.
Why?
Explores interesting topics with such a good technique. We all now that Masaaki Yuassa is a good director.
Why?
Perfect aesthetic and direction. I wish it was more ambitious when exploring the topic of coming of age tho.
Why?
Let me say this: this is the most ambitious, creative, imaginative and effective artistic direction I have EVER seen.
Why?
A master class in symbolism. There are so many details, so many possible explanations that I just cannot state what is the actual topic of the show.
Why?
A master class in rythm and narrative. THIS is jist MAD but high quality that I can just define it as psychodelic.
Why?
Such a nice critique and deconstruction. The atmosphere is perfect and well executed and the topic is deep and explored with humanity.
Why?
Just everything, it is so enigmatic and ambitious and creative and effective in every single aspect, it is just perfect.
Why?
Creative, ambitious, perfect symbolism, perfect cohesion betwee topics and devises used in the script and the audiovisual narrative…and the best part, it is HUMAN, just HUMAN. So powerful and deep but so natural. I looooove it.

Shiritori (しりとり) is a popular japanese word game and is ideal to exercise vocabulary for japanese learners. 2 or more players take turns saying a word that starts with the last kana of the previous word. The game ends when someone answers with a word ending with -n (ん) because there are no words starting with ん.
it is up to the players whether all forms of a hiragana (kana and its diacritics; は,ば and ぱ etc.) are allowed or not (e.g やぎ -> きよう).
example: りんご (apple) -> ごりら (ゴリラ) (gorilla) -> らーめん (ラーメン) (ramen). The last person who said ramen loses because the word ends with -n (ん). Instead the person could have saidらま (ラマ) (llama) (e.g).
These are special verbs to describe the actions of people you respect. Here i will write the verb table as:
Verb = honorific verb (with the irregular conjugation if needed)
行く・いる・来る=いらっしゃる (Irregular form= いらっしゃいます)
食べる・飲む=召し上がる ー めしあがる
くれる=くださる (Irregular form= くださいます)
する=なさる (Irregular form= なさいます)
寝る=お休みなる
みる=ご覧になる ー ごらんになる
言う=おっしゃる (Irregular form= おっしゃいます)
ーている= ーていらっしゃる (Irregular form= ーていらっしゃいます)
It’s important to note that this replacement applies to all compound verbs such as 勉強する=勉強なさる
Because these are honorific verbs to show respect, you shouldn’t use them to describe yourself. Instead they may be used for a teacher or someone you do not know very well.
Some activities do not have specific honorific verbs, so instead we use either:
1) Using ていらっしゃいます instead of ています if the sentence uses ている。
Example- 先生は電話で話していらっしゃいます= the professor is talking on the phone.
2) Using お+ verb stem +になる
先生はもうお帰りになりました= The professor has already gone home
Couldn’t find any themed workout for RWBY that I like, so I made my own!
If you’re going to try any of these out make sure you hydrate, take breaks, and do any modified versions of the exercises if it’s easier!
sometimes I think about how red is the first color in the visible light spectrum to be absorbed in ocean water
and how many deep-sea creatures evolved to be red as a stealth adaptation, making them near invisible when there’s little to no light present
and it makes me think. If there’s never any visible light present in these animals’ lifetimes, if no ROV shines a little flashlight in depths that would otherwise not have light, would these animals ever get the opportunity to actually be red? that might be a stupid question.
imagine being a little deep sea creature and having no idea you’re red until something comes along and shines a light on you except you still wouldn’t be able to tell because you’re probably colorblind. anyway. I don’t know where I was going with this post

apparently native american tribes were in contact with the donner party and offered them food when they saw the colonists were starving and the donner party turned them down and decided to go the whole “cannibalism” route instead.

Hey people, I wanted to share with you this project I’ve been working on the side for a couple of months now: I made a Google Drive with doc files filled with lnks to all the masterposts that were collecting dust in my drafts. I went trough 200+ posts and collected links of all kinds of posts, sites, and other useful stuff.
This is the link: X
In there you will find different Google docs filled with links to masterposts about each issue. I also copied and pasted images/text of posts that weren’t masterposts for direct reading. The most important thing that I did was checking almost every link in each masterpost (around 90%) and making sure the majority of the links still worked to this day (27 Jan 2021). This way you know all these links are usable, and in addition I wrote next to every link if the masterpost is more or less still working. I tried to use as link the original post, but if that wasn’t possible I linked the post in my own blog.
Each doc I compiled talks about certain issues, but if you’re not finding what you need do look in other docs, as there are a ton of different links in other docs that might lead you to what you need.
There is also a link to another collection of masterpost made by byeletchachki that I stumbled upon while making this (in HTML format, download it to access it), and a folder of other Google Drive collections, full of other interesting stuff that you should check out.
I’m planning to expand this by adding my personal TTRPGs collection, maybe some Mobile games installers, and in general other stuff I might love to share with you all, so do check it out every now and then to see if there’s something you might like. Also do message me with suggestions of other masterposts/files you think would be interesting to add! It might take some time if this post blows up but still, I’ll try to check and add everything ^-^
P.s. I did not check what each blog of each masterpost/post talks about, don’t think that because I linked their blog I support them, I just took the posts at face value
