I just saw an ad for angry birds in the same shitty format as every other shitty mobile game ad right now? The kind that’s a weird skit where two random people are talking and then one starts infodumping unprompted about how the game is free and has no ads? It was kind of funny brcause those game ads suck, but kind of sad because i remember when ads didn’t look or sound like that, and they shouldn’t have done that to a mobile game legend like angry birds.

I love the tma fandom turnaround on The Horrors. For about three weeks, everyone was like omg happy gerry! Look at him! Probably some repressed trauma but he seems to have gotten out! A lot of people draw needles as a goofy spikeball, but we know they look roughly like a normal person until you get too close. So I propose this: yknow how sometimes when you get a splinter there’s a sharp bit poking out that you can’t really see but you can feel if you touch the splinter? He’s covered in tiny invisible razor-thin spines that at a distance might appear in weird lighting conditions as a funky halo. Only after you get within arms reach do you see the spikes. And of course, by then they’re embedded in your skin, and we all know how painful and hard to remove splinters are
