Broke: Izzy said “I want to go” because he legitimately believed his life’s journey had reached its end.

Woke: Izzy said it so that Edward could move on, a comforting lie in the service of seeing to his beloved captain’s emotional needs one last time.

Bespoke: Izzy went into the gravy basket when he got shot, where Sea Witch Buttons appeared to him and told him if he chose life, his ultimate fate was handling the customer complaint department at Ed & Stede’s Bed & Breakfast & Seafood Restaurant & Freelance Carpentry Business, and knowing this, chose death.

What a year this week has been.

I recently read this Red White and Royal Blue fanfic on AO3 called It's Nice to Have a Friend by mainstreamelectricalparade. Guys it was so freaking adorable, I had to make some fanart for it

Okay, so, I read a little too much fanfiction, this isn't even a comprehensive list of the amount of options I have but these are some of my favourites.

Also just read every single of Trace's fics, they are so good. 2. How well you play... that's up to you- @happiness-of-the-pursuit (M | 4.3k | One-Shot) Grey's Inspired AU, my best advice is to just experience it, I won't tell you anything else because you need to see it for yourself. 3. All of these Minor Feelings, are Majorly Breaking Me Down - ACDs_Coffee (M | 2k | One- Shot) A story that centers around Rafael Luna, following he announcemt of the Richard's campaign, it's heavy and it's truly wonderful. 4. praying our bridges don't make waves - @anincompletelist (E | 82k | Finished Multichap) A Soulmate AU with Fake Dating that I could not put down, once I started I was so trapped I read this whole thing in one day. 5. The Anatomy of a Big Sister - politics_and_prose (T | 7.3K | One- Shot) A journey through Alex's relationship with Henry in June's eyes, it's truly one of my favourite ones.

David, still in Henry’s arms, wiggles himself free now that they’re no longer hiking up the terrifying stairs that the three-month-old puppy hasn’t quite figured out yet. Alex has his eyes on Henry as he fondly watches over David while he sniffs around the entire living room, before finally settling down into a tight cinnamon roll shape on the dog bed placed in the path of a sunbeam. Alex can see the massive hearts in Henry’s eyes. “We’re not gonna get any schoolwork done this year if all we do is watch him all the time,” Alex jokes. “And you called me distracting.” Henry manages to tear his eyes away from the puppy to make pointed eye contact with Alex, looking him up and down like Alex isn’t dressed in sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt, like Alex isn’t wearing any clothes at all. Given that look, he might as well not be. “That’s because you are distracting,” Henry states, pulling him in for a heated kiss.
