Okay, so while I was at the NSP concert (which was awesome by the way, I had a great time) a lot of people starting panicking because the Twitter office shut down and so I also panicked and changed my stuff here because I’ll probably use this as my primary social media account from here on out. So quick reintroduction:
My name is Will. Formerly getsu15. Everything I wrote in my previous pinned post is still true. All that changed was my name. Oh, and I’ll probably start promoting my Twitch channel on here more. So yeah. Should be neat.

Man. I really just want to play Scarlet. I want to meet a bunch of new Pokémon and have a great time. Unfortunately, my double pack is getting delivered so I can’t play it right away on Friday. Got the double pack because my wife and I both love Pokémon. And this way we can trade version exclusives! Really should’ve ordered it for pickup. Oh well. I’m going Ninja Sex Party in concert tomorrow so that’ll tide me over. And if the games take a while to come in I can just watch the new episode of the Bleach dub. It’s been pretty good so far. I’m starting to ramble a bit, aren’t I? Anyway, I’m excited for Pokémon and I can’t wait! :D
Thank you for making such a charming and fun game! I had a great time!
Last week, Nintendo had an Indie World Showcase. It's like a Direct but primarily for indie games from developers all around the world. A lot of cool games were shown (Have a Nice Death, Pepper Grinder, and Oni, to name a few) but the one that really grabbed my attention was this weird looking game that was released on the same day. Once Upon a Jester. It's about these two friends, Sok and Jester, and their quest to win a chance to perform at the kingdom's Royal Theatrical Spectacle. This, however, is a ruse so they can steal the Royal Diamond! A game where two idiots perform improv theatre so they can steal a big jewel? Sign me up!
The game itself was really fun! The developers, Bonte Avond, recorded most of the dialogue in one take. It definitely shows. But this is by no means a criticism. In fact, the way the dialogue is recorded makes the improv in the game feel much more authentic. Plus it's really funny to see what they came up with. The gameplay is pretty simple, with the player needing to complete quicktime events during the performance to get a good score. The main goal with each performance is to get 5 bouquets from the audience, with a total of fifteen in each town you perform in. If can't get five in one performance, no worries. You can keep trying as long as you need. The plot isn't going anywhere. Also, since the developers are primarily musicians, the music slaps. As someone who spent all of high school and college doing theatre, I can't recommend this game enough.
This isn't so much a review as much me wanting to talk about this really charming game. If you have a Switch or Steam and an appreciation for theatre, then Once Upon a Jester may be for you.
Oh, also Corpse Husband has a cameo in the game. It's hilarious.

Seasonal anime watchlist: Fall 2022
Ordinarily I would’ve made this post a lot sooner but I’m still kinda figuring out things. Anyway, I’m gonna try and post one of these once I figure out what I’m watching each season.
Mondays: Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War (Sub)
Tuesdays: Chainsaw Man
Wednesdays: Mob Psycho 100 season 3, Do It Yourself
Fridays: Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War (Dub) (Yes, I’m watching both. That’s how I watched it in high school too. Subbed at the beginning of the week and dubbed on the weekend.)
Saturdays: Spy X Family, Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun! Season 3, Bluelock, Bocchi the Rock!
I will be binging part 3 of Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure: Stone Ocean when it comes out next month and I want to check out Romantic Killer too. I think that’s everything. May check out some other shows once the season’s finished.
One week until Scarlet/Violet release!
Okay, I've had this account for several months now and I'm realizing that I never really introduced myself. So that's what this is.
Hi! I'm Getsu! I'm really shy! And I love anime, manga, and video games! I'm a big Nintendo person and I read a lot of shonen manga. As for anime, I like a lot of different kinds. Action, battle, slice of life, comedy, thriller, etc. I'll go into specifics here in a sec. I'm 29 years old, married, and have both Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. I made this account intially because I was getting back into Bleach but I realized that I can focus on all of my special interests in a much more organized way than Twitter, which is nice. :D So this will be an amalgam of things I like. YAY! If anyone is curious about my Twitter, mutuals can DM me. I use my real name there so yeah. Though, considering Twitter might crash and burn I may just change my user name here. We'll see. Uh, what else? Oh, right! Specifics!
Anime/manga I really like: One Piece, Bleach, Mob Psycho 100, Jujutsu Kaisen, Komi Can't Communicate, Oddtaxi, Chainsaw Man, Haikyuu!, Kuroko's Basketball, Spy x Family, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Fullmetal Alchemist, Demon Slayer, Dr. Stone, Laid-Back Camp and so much more!
New manga I that I really like that I always recommend: Akane-Banashi, Sakamoto Days, Blue Box, Mission: Yozakura Family, Kaiju No. 8, and Mashle: Magic & Muscles.
VIDEO GAMES: Mario, Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Kirby, Pokémon, Super Smash Bros., Xenoblade Chronicles, and Splatoon for specific games. As for genres: RPG's, JRPG's, platformers, metroidvanias, action games (ex: Devil May Cry, Bayonetta), puzzle games, big open exploration stuff, heavy narrative driven games (ex: Bioshock, Edith Finch), arcade style games, comfy games, and party games (Mario Party, Mario Kart, Jackbox).
I actually used to stream on Twitch regularly. I've been on hiatus from that since August. I plan to come back the week after Thanksgiving so I might change my user name around then. Just a heads up. Okay, I think that's everything. Sorry if this got kinda rambly. I hope that I can share my love for my interests and maybe meet some new friends! If you read this far, thanks!
EDIT: Changing my name because Twitter is dying. Will fix in the morning.
yet another day of me instantly recognizing junichi suwabe's voice in another anime
Saw One Piece Film: Red the other day with my wife and a friend. Fantastic film! I’d never seen a One Piece film before so it was pretty fun. I am caught up with the manga and occasionally watch clips from the anime. But yeah, it was really fun! Loved that it was a musical! Also, there’s a little something in there for the manga readers so be sure to look for that. :) I wish I could be less generic with this description but I really don’t want to spoil anything. If you like One Piece I can’t recommend it enough!
Most people on Halloween: going to parties, getting into costume, trick or treating.
My wife and I this Halloween: splitting a CBD gummy, making pigs in a blanket, wings, and pizza rolls, playing Luigi’s Mansion 3.
Happy Halloween everybody! Be safe!
I was watching the new Bleach episode this morning and realized something really funny. It may only be funny to me but I thought it was worth sharing. Spoilers if you haven't seen the latest episode yet:
Okay, so Nel drops in on Ichigo to tell him Hueco Mundo has been attacked and I'm like, "Yay Nel!" Then Pesche follows shortly after and I'm like, "Ehhh, okay." Until I realize that Pesche's voice sounds very familiar. Specifically, it sounds like Takehito Koyasu. I look it up and yup, it is him. Now why is this so funny, you might ask? Simple. Because it means that this guy,
is voiced by the same guy that voices
Dio Brando from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
Again, this may only be funny to me, but it's really funny.
Bonus fact: Takehito Koyasu also voices Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo from the series of the same name. Also really funny.
So I’ve been trying to figure out what I want to post about on here. Primarily, my interests because that seems to be what Tumblr is for but I never know how to do it. Or rather, I am a bundle of nerves and have no idea how to interact with new people. 😅 So I figure the best thing I can do is just start saying something and hope for the best. Sure, I could just have an account to look at cool stuff and occasionally comment on something neat, which is kinda how I use Twitter and Instagram (which have a different username than this account, if any mutuals are interested please DM me). But I also kinda just want a place where I can unabashedly geek out about my interests with other people who like the same stuff. Was there a point to this? No idea. Maybe I’m overthinking this. Anyway, I’m gonna try to be more active on here. I’ve been wanting to write an analysis of one of my favorite shonen troupes for a while now so that might show up soon. I also want to share what my anime watchlist is for the season and kinda give my thoughts for each show that I’m watching. So yeah, there will be more content here soon. Maybe. I tend to lose track of what I’m doing sometimes. 😅
Just so people in the US know, Hulu will be raising their subscription price next Monday, when Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War premieres. I signed up for the ad plan which is currently $6.99 and will be $7.99 on October 10th. I assume the no ads plan will be similar. I know this isn’t a huge price increase but I still think it’s worth mentioning. So get your free trials while you can.
Between this, Chainsaw Man, Bleach, Spy x Family part 2, and Stone Ocean part 2, my fall anime season is set.

If you’re still taking responses for the Stupid Innocuous Bleach Faves, I love that Ichigo reads Shakespeare. Like, he doesn’t just have a casual interest. He went to college to study English Literature and became a translator. The man really likes Shakespeare. And that makes me wonder, what’s Ichigo’s favorite comedy? Favorite tragedy? Historical play? Sonnet? Do he and Orihime look for theaters putting on Shakespeare productions for date nights? (Yes, and they have a great time.) Who does he talk to about Shakespeare? I’d like to think at first he only talks to Chad about it because Chad is a great listener. Then he meets Rukia and gets her into it because she loves drama. After he gets closer with Orihime he starts recommending plays to read: Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Midsummer to start. It makes me wonder what other authors he enjoys. Agatha Christie? Jane Austen? Mark Twain? Who knows? Anyway, I just love that Ichigo is a book nerd. Specifically a Shakespeare nerd.
Stupid Innocuous Best Fave
MAN I wish I knew more about Shakespeare so I could pick out all the plays and sonnets that would be Ichigo's faves! But I've only read the few plays you get through the US public school system (mine were Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer's Night Dream, The Merchant of Venice, one of the King Henry plays, and a truly terrible high school production of Julius Caesar, which was also somehow both a sci-fi AU and a musical) and one quarter of Jacobean Shakespeare in undergrad. BUT I agree with everything you've listed here and all of these headcanons, and want to add one more.
Ichigo's favorite filmic adaptation of Shakespeare is The Merchant of Venice (2004), because Al Pacino, ICHIGO'S FAVORITE ACTOR, plays Shylock, and imho does it absolutely splendidly. He is just so good at speaking Shakespearean English and making it sound fluid and natural:
Granted, I haven't seen this movie in like 15 years, so ymmv, but I would 100% watch it again--both for Al Pacino and for Ichigo!
wait.
palkia is water/dragon type.
CAN I THROW THE DEIFIED GOD OF THE PEARL CLAN LORD SINNOH AT THE FARM TO BE A GLORIFIED SPRINKLER SYSTEM
I AM TESTING THIS IMMEDIATELY
edit: Y'ALL.
So I had speculated before that when Ingo was transported to Hisui, because they're two of the prizes that you can buy in any incarnation of the Battle Subway, it's not a stretch of the imagination to think that Ingo may have had a Razor Fang and Razor Claw on him. And if this is true, then it's entirely possible that he was the person responsible for Lady Sneasler becoming... Well... A Sneasler. If he was responsible for her evolution, it would certainly explain why Ingo was allowed to become a Warden in spite of being an outsider to the Pearl Clan when they seem to have a distrust of strangers.
But thinking about it... Actually... Maybe every Warden has a deep tie to their ward like that. We obviously see that Palina was at least partially responsible for Growlithe evolving into Lord Arcanine. (Without a Fire Stone to boot!) But it would also absolutely make sense that Lian would have dug up some Black Augurite which was later used to evolve Scyther into Lord Kleavor!
The more I think about it, really the more it kinda just feels right that maybe the Wardens were selected at least in part because they played a role in their wards evolving and fully taking on their roles as Noble/Ride Pokemon. It would certainly help to explain the more odd choices the clans have made in deciding who becomes a Warden. Sabi being the one to level Braviary up until it evolved would certainly explain her weirdly OP team! And Gaeric is obviously the kind of person who would have leveled up Lord Avalugg. Perhaps Wyrdeer and Basculegion were trying to protect Mai and Iscan respectively when they evolved. And maybe Calaba had been collecting peat for medicinal/ceremonial purposes under the light of a full moon. I don't know what Melli and Arezu would have done to get their wards to evolve... Lian clearly has an interest in rocks, so it only make sense for him to have dug up some Black Augurite, but that doesn't really feel like that would have been the case for Arezu finding a Sun Stone and Melli finding a Leaf Stone. There might be a story there, but I don't know what it would be. The best that I've got is that in Platinum, both can be found in the areas that were once the Crimson Mirelands, so maybe those are just areas where those stones exist in relative abundance and can be found? Who knows? Fun to think about though!
Do you guys ever just think “Holy shit, we’re getting Kingdom Hearts IV. We’re going to be getting a new major Kingdom Hearts game.”
We don’t know when but we are getting a new game. We’re going to see Sora again, see the rest of the main cast, potentially new characters, see new interactions, potentially see some characters reunite, see new friendships be made, more Disney worlds to explore, more progression in the story and lore, more twists more turns and you just
Thinking about
“Roxas, was it? You’re pretty good!”
“Heh, well, you ain’t so bad yourself.”
Like, I know it’s literally the only piece of dialogue between Roxas and Ventus in the entirety of Kingdom Hearts
But what makes it special to me is that Roxas doesn’t have any negative feelings towards Ventus, at least not after hearing that complement
You’d think after the events of KH2, he’d feel the need to establish his identity when facing someone who looks exactly like him. But no one treats him any different, no one confuses the two for each other, and better yet the new guy is so freakin pure of heart that he initiates their friendship with a complement
I like that. I hope Roxas and Ventus remain good friends in future games
yuzu sent them on an errand hehe
