Just was thinking of a Valkyrie AU (Attached Universe) for JJK, of course I need to do more research but
If Hana Kurusu can exist, there's like a possibility that Valkyries can be a good attachment to the jjk universe, especially considering cursed abilities are mostly in Japan and rarely elsewhere??
Basically, I think that Valkyric abilities manifest from a sense of victory and also pride/ego, and it's pretty hard to keep consistent, so I highly doubt there'll be special insitutions for it like JJH, but uh 🤩 yeah??
There's always only 13 by the end of the training programs, I think it's mainly in the UK? You can bet one of them is bringing their bronzer with them into battle ADJDJ

Something I find really beautiful about this chapter is Atsushi subconsciously finding his tendency to rely on his emotions as a strength — he had no logical conclusion as to why the ADA members were alive, but instinctively, in his heart, he knew.
The same for Akutagawa — he knew that Akutagawa would remember, in his heart, with the doubt of his mind. I believe it was a quote Atsushi had said earlier, but I believe it's the core of his character — "The head may err, but never the blood".
The heart is a mysterious thing, because it makes sense without any logical basis. The heart is a trust, a senseless trust with a sense of clarity. Dazai in Atsushi's subconscious saying, "Feel strongly. That's what you do when you want to experience the past", brings me to believe that Atsushi has become better at living. Atsushi, by only living in the present, has become the only person fit to defy the space, because the present in the agreement of the past and future.
In other words, I believe Atsushi is the heart.
if your asian activism doesnt include ALL asians then it is useless. if your asian activism thinks asia is japan, korea, and china and MAYBE a few s/se asian countries, it is not asian activism. asia is a massive continent that includes north asia and the middle east (surprise, the middle east is w asia).
yes weeaboos and koreaboos are asian issues and so is anti chinese racism and general anti e asian racism spiking bc of covid, but those are not the ONLY asian issues.
what’s happening to palestine is an asian issue. what’s happening in armenia is an asian issue. what’s happening in india is an asian issue. there are asian issues i am nowhere near informed enough about to bring up on this post. include these communities and countries in your asian activism. they are a part of the larger asian community. do not forget them.
beast spoilers just in case
something i’ve been thinking about is dazai’s bandages during his time in the pm vs beast dazai
i’ve seen people talk about how dazai’s right eye is covered in the pm, sort of symbolizing how he’s shut off his emotions during that period of his life.
meanwhile, in beast, the bandages cover the opposite eye. thinking about it, this does represent his motivations during the course of beast—dazai’s actions can be perceived as purely emotional by the end.
after all, dazai wanted to preserve a world where oda was able to carry out his dream of becoming a writer, even at the expense of his own life. through beast, we get to see a somewhat more emotional dazai, even if outwardly he still tries to suppress these feelings
tbh i’m struggling to fully put into words the incoherent thoughts in my brain but im hoping the bsd fans of tumblr can pick up on the brain waves im transmitting telepathically through this post ykyk

D is running a company, one that thrives on death and nihilism. His ex-girlfriend still recovering from the wounds of, well, him - is soon to leave a mark on Lucy.
5 reasons of living and she departs herself. It's not worth it to hang around him, he is making her, a living woman, into a corpse.

Old.
That's how she feels. Though she lives in her 20-something year old body, the world keeps outgrowing her. The break she's taken for the past to years, has only brought her to greet D's ex-girlfriend.
Living with her for the past 6 months hasn't changed her life completely, but it's changed her life nevertheless.
Equipt with a bow and arrow she never uses. Her time flow is unchained, as soon as their house is in flames.

Her personality:
Someone who's playful and genuine. She's focused, and someone who doesn't anger easily. She likes to think she's 'level-headed' but in reality, she hasn't felt her adrenaline rush since 16. She loves to show she loves others in different ways - e.g, letting them use her home name/Ghanaian name when she's really close to them, buying double of the foods they love, and burning memories into objects.
She's also similar to the wax door. She's soft, but the doors she's put through hardens and shapes her.
