Sketches of X-Key, Lilith, Miles, and X-Key with the Type-R.
This ended up being used on our website but was originally planned to be a sticker for NYCC.
Jonathan tried something a little different this time with this sketch. What do you think?
The first order of business this week is to let everyone know that the second issue of Rebellion will be available on our website next Friday, August 29th. I also wanted to share some artwork this week of another character in the X-Key world named Lilith. Lililth’s story entitled Days on Edge follows her through the brutal wastelands of the future. This story will be available on www.highoctanerevolution.com, after Rebellion completes its run. Even though it’s going to be a while, I really enjoy drawing this character and I thought I’d give you all an early sneak peek.
Quick little doodles by Jonathan.
Hey everyone, its been a while since we had a "Sketch Saturday" due to the preparations for our Kickstarter Project and our appearance at New York Comic Con, so we thought we would make this one a special post. This Saturday we are jumping back through time to take a look at some of the earliest X-Key artwork. Some of these date back to late 2010 which was pretty much the beginning of Team X's work on the project. For us, it is very interesting to see the ways in which the designs have changed or stayed the same. We hope you enjoy as well.
DJ Jam! This is concept art for a character from X-Key. I like how she looks even with minimal line art.
The original artwork is part of a set we are working on for C2E2.
X-Key for highoctanerevolution.com. The original artwork was used for Our groundwork and presentations, a modified version was used on our shirts at NYCC. We are making a lot of new artwork for 2015 and we can’t wait to share more.
C2E2 Day 2! We have some pretty cool items for our Saturday Swag Bag! If you stop by our booth today you can grab a free copy of Rebellion 01. The C2E2 version has a preview of "Days On Edge" featuring Lilith. Our bag also comes with 1 of 5 different wristbands, a poster, a sticker set, and X-Key's "not smiley" button. We will also be sending out Agee of these later to some of our followers as a way of saying thanks for your support! #xkey #artoftheday #teamxvisual #anime #otaku #artist #manga #comics #draw #c2e2 #chicago #free #swag #bag #arte #wristband #poster #illustration #artsy #art #artwork #instaart #wacom #instalike #color #rad #style #colorful #illustration #rainbow
