Cybertronians is armadillos…

Do Cybertronians have both an exoskeleton (their plating and kibble) and an endoskeleton (the supportive structure that allows them to move but is not the stuff directly under the plating)? Is there a classification for organisms with both kinds of skeletons?

jokes aside I personally like to think they just wouldn’t fit into earthly classification at least not neatly (but honestly even earth creatures struggle with that) does it exist? maybe not but that just means us fans get to make up our own wacky little categories
