They have their thinking posture on
they were so doomed. rio bent the rules of the universe for her. she gave her six whole years, but that is so little. that’s not enough time at all. there would never be enough time and agatha hates her for it, forever. and in the end, rio still weeps for her
i just did a high school musical marathon and let me tell you something. we all colectivelly slept on the greatness and graciousness of chad fucking danforth:
one of his first lines is making fun of sharpay saying she spent her winter break shopping for mirrors as if he was killing it and i think that's a very underrated moment
he was so invested in taking his best friend off the musical he developed a very detailed plan and used three synchronized watches to make sure everything would happen at the right time. that's commitment right there
he then recognized his mistake and put just as much effort in helping troy and gabriella do the damn audition
he walked around school carring a basketball for absolutely no reason
he had strong ideals and his priorities straight which made him immediately call troy out on his bullshit as soon as he started being an asshole on the second movie
he becomes more than just friends with ryan and does the BEST musical number of that movie while exploring his own sexuality potential in the arts, breaking free from the stigma around "dancing"
he had yet another flawless and very underrated performance on the third movie next to his bff, "the boys are back", in which he shows that yes he DOES like boys dance – and better than any other character actually
he has the best (and also the only) character development in the trilogy because he went from judging his best friend for wanting to sing to actively helping him be part of the school musical, then he began to accept the fact that he himself actually kind of liked performing as well and at the end he fully embraces his gay artistic side and becomes one of the PROTAGONISTS of the show which is just so incredible and inspiring and very well constructed
and last but not least he felt so emotional about separating from troy that he just left the stage in the middle of a show and left a giant audience WAITING while he was playing basketball and talking to his bff which is probably the highest possible level of drama queen and i think that's beautiful
oh and do i need to remind you that he gave us the iconic what team? WILDCATS, what team? WILDCATS, what team? WILDCATS, get your head in the game!
chad danforth and corbin bleu, we did you wrong. this was the funniest and most iconic, not to mention extremely handsome and crazy talented hsm character ever and i wish we saw it then. i hope someday we can make you justice

“That was amazing!” Kate yells as she throws her bow and arrows to the ground at her aunt’s apartment. “All those trick arrows, where did you get them? Are there more of them?”
“No.” Clint grunts, sitting down to the couch and putting the TV on.
Kate sits next to him, continuing on her rambling about the day they had and all the cool arrows she got to shoot. Clint doesn’t really listen to her, more engrossed with the show on TV. Pizza dog is sitting next to Clint, enjoying the head pats he is getting from him. The joyous mood gets cur down quickly, when harsh knocks can be heard from the front door.
“Are you expecting someone?” Clint asks, already on the edge.
Kate shakes her head, looking at the door as the knocking continues. She gasps. “Shit!” Patting all of her pockets, she looks for her phone. Finding it, Kate sees all the unanswered texts and calls. She runs to the door and opens it. “I’m so sor-“
“Tell me, why did I hear about your apartment burning down from your mom?” Y/N steps indeed the apartment, slamming the door shut. “You ran out of our date, ignored all of my messages and then suddenly went AWOL for two days.” She lists on while walking further into the apartment. “And then I find ou-“ She stops. “What is the Hawkeye doing here?”
Kate stands next to her sheepishly. “Y/N, meet Clint. We’re partners.” Clint shakes his head at the comment. “Clint, meet Y/N. She is my girlfriend.”
“I’m starting to doubt that.” She glares at her.
Kate cringes at the tone of her voice. “I really am sorry. If we could just go,” She points the kitchen so they could have some privacy. “And I can explain everything.” Y/N hums. With a last glance towards the Avenger, she walks to the kitchen. “Just a second.” She whispers to Clint and goes after Y/N.
“Do you understand how worried I was?” Y/N starts, keeping her gaze on the floor. “I thought you were dead! Or or kidnapped or maybe you just decided to break up with me and not tell or-“
Kate puts her hands on Y/N’s cheeks and kisses her. “I’m so sorry.” She mumbles, holding her close. “Jack was acting weird in the charity event, so I decided to follow him. I found a secret auction. Then some people attacked it and I found Ronin’s suit and used it to fight them and then Hawkeye found me and we became partners! And now we fight crime together.” She rambles a slightly simplified version of the events that happened after ditching Y/N at the charity event. “I got so busy that I forgot to tell you I’m okay. Besides, I’m never breaking up with you. You can never get rid of me.”
Kate grins when she hears Y/N giggle quietly. She moves a strand of her hair behind her ear. “Why do you always get yourself into these crazy situations?” She mumbles. “I don’t want you to get hurt.”
“I won’t.” Kate assures, giving her a one more kiss. “Come on. You need to meet someone else.” She takes her hand and leads her into the living room where Clint is with Pizza dog.
Y/N gasps. “You got a dog and didn’t tell me.” She kneels to the ground and starts petting Pizza dog who walks over to her with a wag of his tail. Clint watches the two. “I’m sorry Mr Hawkeye, you’re very cool as well. I just really love dogs.”
“Clint is fine, kid.” He chuckles, shaking his head.
“See how easily I get her forgiveness.” Kate looks at Clint smugly, wanting to boast herself, and her relationship, to Clint. “I’m the best girlf-“
“I have not forgiven you yet.” Y/N grumbles, keeping her attention at the dog. “This dog is just more important right now. Aren’t you? Yes you are. Such a good boy.” She coos at the dog as if he can understand. He wags his tail and snuggles closer to Y/N.
“Oh.” Kate mumbles, kind of jealous of a dog right now. He glances at Y/N before turning back to Clint with new determination. “I’m still a very good girlfriend!” She assures him, though he really doesn’t care. “This one time, Y/N almost fell and caught her. And then-“ She continues rambling every single time she somehow saved Y/N.
Y/N rolls her eyes with a grin on her face as she sees Clint nodding along. “She really likes you, I’m sure you’ve noticed by now.” She mumbles to him as Kate continues with the stories. “She wants to prove herself to you.”
“Oh, I’ve noticed.” Clint nods. He watches Kate pace around the room. “She is a good kid.” He whispers quiet enough only Y/N hears.
Y/N moves her gaze to Kate. She smiles, feeling full of love towards her. “She really is the best girlfriend.”
Kate gasps, stopping. “I heard that! You forgive me!” She hugs Y/N tightly, squeezing the living out of her. Y/N laughs, falling to the ground with Kate as they loose their balance. Pizza dog starts licking their faces. Clint smiles at the sight. As much as he wants to be with his family right now, this isn’t too bad. He really is warming up to them.
Gabrielle Delacour was only eight years old when she first met Harry Potter, a nice enough boy, during the Triwizard Tournament. Her friends back home were jealous, but back then it was more about her brush with celebrity than any romantic notions. He had saved her after all, and Gabrielle had to deal with months of “Oh I wish that had been me,” and she had to just smile politely instead of saying what she really wanted to say. Oh of course she was grateful to Harry, and always would be, but she would not want to relive the moment. Gabrielle had been told beforehand that it was all perfectly safe, but sometimes she still woke up feeling like she was sinking into the murky waters of the Black Lake.
As her schoolmates grew older, everyone around her seemed to be more and more interested in crushes and kisses. During sleepovers, the other girls would gossip and giggle about which wix they liked, which wix they wanted to do things with that always made Gabrielle blush, though she wasn’t sure why. All she knew for sure was that she didn’t seem to feel the same way as her classmates. When asked who she had a crush on, Gabrielle answered truthfully: Nobody. “You don’t ‘ave to be shy about it Gaby,” Her classmates giggled, “We know you ‘ave a crush on ‘Arry Potter.” Did she? Gabrielle didn’t think so, but her classmates were insistent, so she became less sure of herself.
Soon enough was her sister’s wedding, where she would see Harry Potter again. Gabrielle was nervous as her family prepared to travel – was this what her classmates were talking about? It wasn’t quite the butterflies in her stomach that was described to her, but maybe it was something similar. Maybe this was the crush she was told she had. She batted her eyelashes at Harry, copying her friends’ attempts at flirting, but immediately felt mortified and silly, and spent the rest of the wedding hiding behind her parents rather than talking to her sister’s new family. Flirting just didn’t feel right to her, she wasn’t sure if she would ever try again. “Don’t worry dear,” Her mother smiled at her, “You’ll get the ‘ang of it as you get older.”
But as the years went by she still never got the hang of it, always more awkward than her classmates. Despite this, her Veela heritage meant she was never short of dates as a teenager and young adult, wix would ask her left and right and Gabrielle nearly always accepted, hoping to find that spark her friends talked about. She never wanted a second date, and never allowed more than a quick goodbye kiss. The obvious disappointment on her dates’ faces always rubbed her the wrong way and she wondered again why she felt so differently about all this romance stuff.
Finally, nearly a decade after her sister’s wedding, Gabrielle decided she would spend the holidays with her sister’s family rather than deal with her parent’s imploring when she would settle down and marry and have kids, the apparent trifecta of adulthood. She had tried many times to explain to her mother that she didn’t want the first two and was still unsure about the third, but her mother seemed to have selective hearing on the subject. So there she was, curled up on the couch in her sister’s living room, having a drink with Bill and Charlie while Fleur put the babies to bed, that the dreaded question came up.
“So, are you seeing anyone?” Bill asked, more as a conversation starter than out of genuine interest.
Gabrielle rolled her eyes, “Not really, not interested in all that.” She took a sip of her drink, dreading part two of the questions.
“Oh ok, so you’re a bit like Charlie then? Aroace?”
Gabrielle stared blankly at Bill, then at Charlie. “Arrow… ace?”
Charlie laughed a bit, “Means Aromantic-Asexual. Aromantic means I don’t feel romantic attraction, like crushes I guess, and asexual means I don’t feel sexual attraction.”
“That’s a thing?!” Gabrielle set her drink down so quickly some sloshed over the edge and onto the table. “How did you know? How are you sure?”
And that was the beginning of a long conversation that lasted well into the night. Bill came out as bisexual and sometime during the conversation Fleur returned and contributed that she was ace and panromantic. The group had a long discussion about sexuality, and bemoaning the lack of sex education in wizarding schools, and how they came to realize their respective sexualities and how their parents reacted. Fluer admitted that she never spoke of it much because of all the pressure at home to get a husband and produce kids, and apologized that she never talked to Gabrielle about it. Gaby almost didn’t care at that point, so relieved was she to find something that seemed to fit. She still wasn’t sure if aroace was the right term for her, but with some great reading suggestions from Charlie, she knew she was on the right path. She watched the sunset that morning with a feeling of peace, and even though she had a hundred more questions now, she was glad she had found the answer to one that had been bugging her for years.

how I look at my parents when they refer to me as their "daughter"
a scooby-doo origin story where Daphne, Fred, Velma, and Shaggy are all serving detention together and none of them (save for maybe Fred and Daphne) have ever really talked before, but they talk in detention. they have fun, they're bonding, it's a real Breakfast Club situation, and as detention ends they're walking home and they see a dog digging through the garbage of a local restaurant
he's big, but he seems sweet and he's obviously hungry, so the gang approaches him to see if he has a collar. Shaggy manages to get to him first, and the dog immediately takes to him, giving him a big dog kiss and cuddling up to him, but the dog seems to like all of them
upon finding he doesn't have a collar, Shaggy, scratching behind his ears, rhetorically asks, "What's your name, buddy?"
and the dog answers, "Scooby-Dooby-Doo!"
after a minute of freaking the FUCK out and asking each other "y'all heard that, right?" the kids decide to take the dog (who they immediately start calling Scooby-Doo, Scoob, or Scooby for short) home, and find that not only can the dog talk, he displays human-level intelligence and is easily frightened. when they ask where he came from, he doesn't seem to know, but when they walk past an old, abandoned shopping complex on the edge of town, he completely freaks out...and there are weird noises coming from that complex at night....and some suspicious sightings....
the first mystery they investigate together is the mystery of what in God's name is going on here
