Animators needed for Vat7k!!!!

So for those who dont already now, I and some other fans are worling on TheFan'sVat7k project to try and make the show Disney refused to give us but better, and as the title suggests, we're on the lookout for some animators!

There isnt really any criteria (other than knowing how to animate, duh) and youd be helping us animate the show itself as well as some promotional animatics for the show<3

I have a headcanon that her father was a mage, so after she died she would follow in her footsteps while still putting astronomy and math in the forefront because without those she wouldn't know what exactly to do with the magic. Came up with a whole magic system, maybe one day I'll post it

I think I'm too far gone in this fandom. If you asked me who my favourite character was back when I only knew about the movie, I'd probably say Rapunzel or Pascal. Now if you ask me the same question I'll say the eternal library.

I think I need sleep I almost called Eugene "Flynn" like not even five minutes ago and I'm genuinely mad at myself for it

Honestly I think one of my absolute favorite things about Vat7k is everyone’s different interpretations of the characters.

Because Vat7k centers around an idea rather than an actual piece of media and is on the smaller side of fandoms, it not only means everyone gets a lot of creative freedom, but also that you *will* see *all* of that creative freedom being exercised cuz there’s only a handful of creators. You see the same people over and over again until you recognize who they are and what they usually put out and how they usually characterize everyone.

I LOOOVE seeing all the different fonts these characters come in. There’s so much to do with how Varian-Yong-Hugo-Nuru can be characterized and then therefore how they interact with eachother. I will see someone have the exact opposite interpretation of a character or dynamic than my own, and I’ll just be like “Not how I see it personally, but I completely see where you’re coming from and I love it”.

Some people focus more on the serious, dark, creepy parts of the story. Some people focus on more on the comedic, light, slice-of-life parts of the story. Some people lean as close to ‘canon’ as possible while some people headcanon everything to be as suited to their specific taste as they can. And there’s a lot of in-between with all of those, obviously.

I just think it’s all super fun and I haven’t really seen anyone bring this up before.

Like me personally I think we should allow Nuru to be fragile every once in a while because she’s literally just a girl. Not in the barely-disguised-misogyny way but in the was that she’s LITERALLY just a girl, she’s like sixteen, she’s a child, and she already spent her entire life cosplaying Atlas and having to be strong for her people, allowing her her emotions is not a terrible awful crime and it does not make her any less capable. If Varian and Hugo can be allowed their emotional complexities and hundreds of thousands of breakdowns and still be capable and ass-kicking then guess what, so does Nuru

While I love seeing Donella being like a mother, when I read varian's tangled trials she gave such a mother gothel vibe and I love the idea of her just being a manipulative little bitch

(I'm only just starting to read the other vat7k fic, I could still change my mind)
