Hey so.. I don't know if anyone still follows me. Or is interested in my writing. I completely abandoned my last major project that I used to post about--a while ago--and I've recently gotten back into writing. I'm starting a new WIP but I'm stuck between two plots, if anyone cares to share their opinions :)

A.) Knight finds a girl with amnesia who turns into a bird monster, and he just became a fugitive. So he takes her and they go into hiding, fighting shadow monsters and working to get her memory back.

B.) Noblewoman is set up to marry a prince from a neighboring kingdom, but is actually sent to steal the source of magic from their neighbors. Instead, she falls for the prince's knight. ...instead of the prince.

Unless these are both stupid/need to be workshopped, my DMs and Asks are open to anyone with constructive criticism!! Or any other writers wanting to talk (I need more writer friends) 😭

I think the reason I’m spiraling so bad and wanting to just delete my whole wip is because I have no one to talk ideas out with because all my writer friends just dropped off the face of the earth </3

First update of the new year! And I actually have a bit of progress!

I’m in the process on deciding on a huge but slight change in the plot/character subplot, still deciding. But other than that, I actually did write a few hundred words of the first chapter! Which is a very good start. I need someone to harass me into keeping this one though, so I don’t chicken out and change this later. PLEASE (I’ll probably just get my boyfriendddd~~ to do it)

It’s slow progress this week but it’s progress, which is more than I can say for the past few weeks.

Last day before Christmas! Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone!!

This is hopefully the last week with no progress. Going into the new year, I will have more time and (please god) more inspiration.

Speaking on coming up on the new year, I’m coming up on my wip’s two year anniversary! Kinda sad that I don’t have a full chapter written for it yet, but it has changed so drastically from the original idea,,, it’s insane to see how far I’ve come and how far I still have to go.

Ohmigod I’ve been so swamped with work I almost forgot to write this.

Ok so here's the biz: I did almost get to 3k words, but then I had a new idea for chapter three that threw all that sideways, so i've spent all morning deleting the now-irrelevant info and rewriting the new chapter plot. Tbh, this new one is so much better than 'he accidentally finds out who she is and she just decides~ to stick with him'. Now her decision to stay makes sense according to her character and all is good. ish. :)

However, I am now set back a few hundred words. I know the word count shouldn't matter but its bothering me so I'm going to spend the rest of the day before I have to go to work reworking this plot chart. yayyyyy.

⇨ Other than my mess of a plot chart, I got a really cool idea for a villain for book two! and I already figured out a way to make them signifigant in book 1!! God I'm gonna make this villain so sexy
