Thinking of if Captain Marvel (Shazam) turned (sorta) evil and how that would happen.

I can’t actually see him going full evil cause Billy to me is a little ball of sunshine. But in the end he is a child therefore is more vulnerable than any of the adults.

So I can see revenge driving him to kill a villain, not inherently turning him evil, but definitely against his morals.

What if somebody kills someone close to him? What if he is forced to finally see the evil side of the world that even the adults can’t always handle? If he were to have a villain arc it wouldn’t be black and white. He’d be driven to do things by corruption and the idea that he was protecting someone else.

Billy is good, but in the end he is also a vulnerable child who has been given a great power that shows him the hidden evils of a world that has already done him so wrong. He doesn’t have the judgement of an adult as Billy, maybe he might as Captain Marvel with the wisdom of Solomon, but he’s also Billy half of the time.

Idk my brain is just making me sad thinking of a world where Billy was given to much power for his mental health to handle and then someone close to him was killed, nudging him off the edge into a pit of grief and revenge.

Headcanon that all the Vazquez kids are notorious for using Freddy’s crutch to hit bullies.

Billy, Eugene, Mary, and Freddy himself have all definitely done it (more than once)

But you know you’ve really fucked up when Darla or Pedro are coming at you with that freaking crutch

I see a lot of fandom media of Super boy(konner) being “adopted” by Captain Marvel/Shazam (Billy Batson) or just them being friends

but I can’t seem to find any canon interactions between them so I’m wondering where fandom have gotten this relationship from?

It's really funny that Cass and Steph patrol as a pair. Like, Cass? We all know she doesn't need back up. So everyone just assumes Steph's there BC she's weak.

Steph, trained by Cassandra, Batman, Barbara, and iirc Shiva? Stephanie Brown who Black Canary says reminds her of herself. Stephanie Brown who's the only one Cassandra will listen to at times.

Steph doesn't need Cass for patrol, Cass needs Steph there to keep her grounded to reality and not spiral into self destruction.

Hilarious to me that DC went out of their way to make sure we knew that Steph and Cass were having an Anti-Valentine's Day dance -- complete with Jason, just in case we got the wrong idea about two girls dancing together -- and everybody's still like "aww, look at the lesbians!"

You can't defeat them, DC. It's over.

Things I think the Marvel Trio (Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel & Capt Marvel Jr) have done in front of other heroes that prove they are all siblings.

(Yes I know most of these are more argument-based but these are all sibling moments and if I think of anything wholesome I’ll make another list.)

Cap yanked off Mary’s cape and ran for it with her in hot pursuit.

Jr & Cap kicked each other under the table for half a hour straight during a hero meeting.

Mary put Jr in a headlock and dragged him around.

Jr & Mary duck taped Cap to the watchtower cafeteria ceiling.

All three kept blowing raspberries at each other during a big fight against a supervillain

Cap & Jr both kept making fart noises every time Mary took a step.

All three showed up to a mission with ice creams smooshed on their heads and glares being thrown between the three of them.

Cap & Jr were put in the Get Along Shirt.

Mary & Cap were put in the Get Along Shirt.

Jr & Mary were put in the Get Along Shirt.

i do think it’s funny how cass’s parental issues are so insane that shiva wasn’t even involved in her life until she was an adult and was literally challenging her to death matches and Actually Killed Her Once but david has set the bar so fucking low that shiva still wins the better bio parent award on account of Not Showing Up
