I would never stop thinking about this novel. I never will. So here I bless you with some incorrect quotes that I wrote on our beloved characters! Hope you like it!

Raskolnikov, delusions of grandeur and religious denial

He really calls himself an athiest and then does all this stuff that's symbolic to things from the Bible.

He tells his bud to take care of his mom and sister because he probably won't be seeing them again, paralleling Christ telling John to take care of his mom when he was hanging on the cross.

He kisses Sonia's foot similar to Jesus washing the feet of his apostles.

He harrases Sonia into reading the story of Lazarus (seriously, he barged in and started putting her down, the jerk, then wouldn't leave till she read to him). While Lazarus died physically and was sepreated from his loved ones, Raskolnikov and Sonia have expierenced a spiritual death beacause of their sins. This point is accentuated when after she finishes reading, the book makes a comment about the harlot and the murderer, referring to Sofia and Raskolnikov. Then later they become seperated from their siblings when they go to Siberia like Lazarus was seperated from Mary and Martha.

There's probably more that I missed but those three really stuck out to me. He goes on about being an atheist and wanting to be in the same class as Napoleon but bro is acting like he's a martyr or something if he confesses to murdering 2 people who were minding their own business. Delusions of grandeur, indeed.

Then we got chari, the negotiator of the spider lily. I swear he's looks better in practice, I just didn't do him justice.

Then we got cethin, the treasurer.

He's the brother of chari, but they have a rivalry due to their difference in rank. Chari covers his left eye, which is an indicator of their bond.

All I got for them so far. But I mean, whatever. They're fun.

I genuinely can't stand pop psychology I'm not an expert on this stuff but the damage it has done to the general public's understanding of mental health and psychology must be notable. People with low empathy are evil. NPD is The Abuser Disorder. here's how your partner is subconsciously manipulating you. OCD is when you like cleaning. If you ask him a question and he looks away for one second he's lying to you and abusing you. Follow for more dark psychology tips. Letting my intrusive thoughts win and dyeing my hair. I thought this guy was into me I'm so delulu. Anyone who comes to you with their problems is traumadumping and abusive. Anyone who gives you gifts is lovebombing and abusive. Being neurodivergent means Liking Things. Neurotypicals don't like things. They are empty shells without feelings. Neurodivergent means ADHD or ASD. What, BPD? Schizophrenia?? That's not very quirky or fun. And that's what neurodivergent means. That's just weird. Being mentally ill isn't an excuse to be weird. Only Evil People manipulate and abuse. There are certain people who Are Evil by nature (people with NPD) and they Will abuse you. Loving someone means it's impossible to abuse them only Evil People Who Hate You are abusive.
