Literally how Lizzie and Joel meet in my au
Lizzie is walking to school. She almost trips over a kid on a scooter, nearly walks into Cleo on rollerskates, and barely dodges Mumbo's bike just to have Scar catch her ankle with his wheelchair. Joel is watching all of this happen while on his skateboard, drifts off sideways watching her and ends up nearly crashing into her.
Later that evening, they meet each other in the emergency room.
Joel: (jokingly) What'd you get hit by this time, a car?
Lizzie: (fully serious, deadpan) No, I got hit by a truck.
(there is a reason why Joel is there, it's not important rn)
The BAMboozlers might be my favorite team this season, maybe in the entire life series tbh depending on how they end, and I think the main reason for it is how ride or die they all are with each other.
Jimmy wants to be BAM themed, Scar and Lizzie embrace it. Soon enough they're all enthusiastically saying BAM to each other when they start the session.
Scar suggests the BAMbunker offhandedly, Jimmy builds it a few sessions later.
Jimmy needs a kill, Lizzie builds a creeper spawner to get him TNT and eggs, risks her life to get him suspicious stew to keep him alive, and uses herself as bait against her own husband for his sake.
Scar trades a mace for friendship with the Spanners, asks about Grian's grudge against Jimmy, and offers the mace back so that they can all be friends.
When the Quizbot shows up, Lizzie dedicates herself to building an ender pearl stasis chamber so they can all summon each other and help on questions.
Jimmy accidentally hits Lizzie, leading to her death, and feels awful. She lets it go instantly in favor of protecting the both of them from the Warden.
Lizzie and Jimmy go red, Scar offers to go red himself without hesitation so that they can go on murder sprees together.
They all use the BAM HQ together routinely, calling meetings when anything massive changes to keep each other informed, and lean into their theming more than any other group has this season with their matching skins and rollercoasters.
They're also together all the time and constantly trust and build each other up, which is honestly refreshing to see with how toxic and faithless most if not all of the other groups have been to each other.
realizing I missed one of my mutuals' posts so now I feel like a deadbeat mutual
okay so there’s two main languages. English and parkour.
parkour was the main one but it fell out of use when TEC and Seawatt showed up; seawatt was a nerd who studied English for fun (it was almost dead by this point) and decided to put it in everyone’s memories and that’s how it became so widespread.
parkour nowadays is only used very infrequently and in old books - that’s why the parkour book is in the chainmail library, as it hasn’t had access to the outside world for a while, and also explains why evbo has “been studying it” when presumably it should’ve been used widespread. This also explains the signs in the movie 1 house buying section
anyway there’s my two cents
yall if Joel goes to exile we get jevin and joel interactions. Jevin’s already embracing the insane what happens when we add Mr. Mania Man
team send joel to exile so he joins the cult
another plurality wildcard for your collection: people get randomly assigned into duos (outside of their alliances) and one piggybacks on the other. they can change who's walking and who's piggybacking but they cannot escape each other. person on piggyback is harder to reach in pvp but cannot hit other players; person walking can control where both of them go and can pvp, but is more likely to get hit. it would be so unbalanced but so funny...
It WOULD be unbalanced, but that's also the average plural experience, so
Hello to all Long-Haired people of Tumblr! (But especially anyone who was raised as a guy in a household where guys weren’t allowed to have long hair). I have a friend who wants to grow his hair out, but his parents won’t let him. He already has quite short hair, and his parents want him to cut it even shorter, ideally to a buzzcut. My friend has been wanting to grow out his hair since around the time I met him, which was over a year ago, but his parents insist that he keeps it short. Does anyone have any advice as to how to get his parents to let him grow out his hair?
I would love love love to see the Traffic Life Trivia as Um Actually questions. I know it wouldn’t have worked given the nature of Um Actually, but I can imagine a bonus episode where they just answer Triaffic Life trivia questions in the Um Actually format, where three players are called to compete against each other to answer questions in rounds and the winners then compete against each other in a tournament style. Cherrifire hosts it. Martyn yells “GET IN THE COMMENTS” every time he isn’t given points for his answers. The players who are not actively answering questions are behind the camera reacting to answers. Every time the answer to a really hard question is revealed, you can hear everyone else in the background going “OH COME ON” “HOW WOULD WE HAVE KNOWN THAT”. Sometimes the players behind the camera try to pantomime the answers. Without remorse, Cleo, who watches Dropout, keeps stealing answers from players who keep forgetting to say “Um Actually”.
