reblog if you’ve read fanfictions that are more professional, better written than some actual novels. I’m trying to see something
A small animation that took WAY longer than I thought it would lmao
Song by Tally Hall, it's called Banana Man
I head canon Grian as having red eyes prior to being a watcher, because I think it's cool and that's my only justification lmao
I'll prob not do all of the days (I've already missed day one), but I'll do the ones I can when I have the time for them lol. I'm trying to increase my art skills in my weakest subjects, like this drawing of Grian is not me at my best, but it's me when I'm trying something I'm not well applied with lol. Imma try to do a lot of different art styles for each day that I do participate in, so I'm excited for that.
At my school, it's a graduation requirement to complete computer science I, but it doesn't even teach computer literacy. It teaches the basics of a couple scripting languages. That's it.
I have learned how to be computer literate because of my electives, not because of my actual computer class.
Technological literacy only exists in a very slim age demographic of people born from roughly 1980 to roughly 2007
I'm going to start responding to posts on tumblr (that aren't screenshots. Just normal text posts) with "you would do numbers on tumblr"
also sorry for never shutting up about this but i got to gem's ep and after grian dies they keep saying he lasted so long because he had so many hearts. he had 2 rows. they understandably chalk it up to hearts but underestimate the sheer willpower of a rabid blood-covered creature backed into a corner frothing at the mouth and biting everything in sight
Libraries are cool, you get free books and mine even offers a language app. Go to the library.
Charlie slimecicle says you should use your local library System.
Get a library card, use the computers, read a book on the couch, ask for help from the librarians, go to the events they host, look at the boards they have on the walls for local events, study, read a book in another language you are reading, take your kids there to meet other kids, hang out after school there, wait for a ride there, hang out before work, browse the audiobooks, and more.
There is so much you can do at a library just go and do it.
