I keep seeing posts about dolls and witches and like, it's really enticing. I genuinely see myself as a machine rather than a person, and if that means I'm an object rather than a person then I just want someone who will treat me with care.

But I can't get into it for the exact reason I can't seem to get into HDG, I don't want to lose all agency and/or independence I have.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of being semi-forced to act the way my owner/operator/programmer would like me to as well as being a tool/item for them to use, observe, etc.

But I still want to have friends, go out, and do things with people in public spaces and indulge in my hobbies when time permits.

Is there a specific subgenre for that?

5. Assimilated Seven of Nine in her Borg alcove, illuminated by the green zappy behind her. Me: Then there was the Borg and their heavy rubber kinky cybernetics. Specifically Seven of Nine.

6. The glossy white Björk-bot from her video for "All Is Full Of Love". Me: Björk's "All Is Full Of Love" video did things to my brain. Me: That was the same year I came out as transgender.
