I feel bad for all the “relationship map” people rn, because with Jimmy and Joel’s marriage, now the joelycule and the Jimmycule have fused, and they have to redo all their charts.

Thank you @falconearring, your comic was the first time I had ever seen a fan comic, and I spent an unjustified amount of time last year reading and rereading it. I never would have had the courage to even make fanart without it. I love the story and the art, and I aspire to make comics like you. Your art taught me a lot, and I still am in awe of the way you tell such a cohesive and immersive story.

I know I have not been posting as much, and that’s because I’ve decided that I’m not gonna drive myself insane trying to get a real following for fandom art, which unless you are selling your fanart, which I am not, is a purely recreational engagement. I am also going to give myself the freedom to shitpost somtimes as well, because I seem to have forgotten that this is in fact my blog, that I can post whatever I like on lol. Like, have any of you considered that Joel’s laugh at the end of wild life is the same laugh as jack from last kids on earth??? Like I heard it and was like immediately “is that jack lkoe?” (Idk if other people abbreviate it, that’s a long ass title I’m not typing that out lol) I’ve decided that I literally do not care how many notes I get anymore because willful ambivalence is better than extreme anxiety and burn out lol. So, I’ll still be taking art reqs and stuff, but expect a LOT more sketch pages, OCs, fanart for other fandoms, and long rambling paragraphs. Hopefully. Or I’ll vanish for months at a time. Who knows? The point is, this is a personal blog, so I want to use it more as a space to be. Just a person. Anyway, bye!

It’s kinda messy cause I was on a time crunch and trying out some different brushes, and also Cherri is surprisingly hard to find a reference of. Like, Cherri what shoes do you wear. Cause I have never seen them. I ended up going with a fanart I found of her for the rest of the outfit that I couldn’t piece together via stream thumbnails, but Cherri please give us a reference of your sona it’s so pretty and I wanna draw it properly! Anyways yeah. Also as I was drawing this I noticed that Cherri just. Like. Has pointy teeth. I did not notice this before. How have I never noticed this before? Am I the only who just, like missed that the pink flower magic fire eyeball lady has extra sharp danger biteys? Anyway sorry for rambling I love your art Cherri and I love watching your streams and seeing all the stuff you draw in YouTube thumbnails and being like “I know who drew that!” and singing along to the crane wives during your streams and drawing along to your vods!! The Great HC-TCG Tournament Finale of Season 9

This work is a two parter dedicated to the beginning of Hermitcraft TCG by VintageBeef. In this one - I drew the background and Hoshi drew the hermits of the SECOND HALF to this series so be sure to check our other piece FIRST!

An slight in-depth breakdown into some of the design decisions when translating Cub's TCG arena from minecraft to proper architecture for our composition!

Drawing the UI of all the screen would be one of the last things added to the bg. While most of the hermit profiles I did to follow Hoshi's designs, designs of other artists and hermits you can find throughout the zine.

Season 9 was my first exposure to Hermitcraft and to be able to see it through to the end not to mention be a part of a such a beautiful tribute to the season I am grateful. BIIIG honours to have worked on two fantastic pieces with Hoshi, huge shoutout to the other contributors, and many thanks to the mod team for making sure everything stays running ^_^

I don’t actually know much about Sabrina carpenter so all I had to go off of for Joel’s outfit was “the pink one” lol and I’m lazy so I was just like screw it I’ll just make him, like, Eye wateringly pink. And then my internet went out halfway through drawing this because apparently the universe doesn’t appreciate fine art when it sees it so I just had to go off of what I remembered, so apologies if it’s inaccurate. Also it was so fun reading it for the first time, getting to the headcannons at the end, and then going back and reading it a second time and giggling the whole time like “teehee they’re gonna get married one day” lol.

also I just know that Etho is this au is the most infuriatingly oblivious person ever, like he’s sobbing to Gem “I think I’m in love with him but he could never possibly love me back!!!!!” And Gem has to be like “Etho. Before he had even met you he called you his future husband live onstage and dedicated a song that’s about a bit more than love to you. He then asked you out to dinner, made sure you were single, and asked for your number. He likes you.” And Ethos like “nooooo but he was just joking!”
