Hello! You asked for characters and numbers so, uh, here's some :D

Oh my gosh Rain thank you sm!!! I got a drawing ask from deityoftherain I feel so famous lol. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to get to all of them right now, but I’ve got one done, and hopefully in the future when I have more time I can do more of them (I'm particularly excited by the one I have planned for Scott, flower husbands my beloved they were literally my first fandom love, so I neeeed to do a piece with them)

but yeah here is my piece for my number 4 song: Sleep, by My Chemical Romance, with Pearlescent Moon

I wanted it to feel like a glitchy and vaguely haunted old cassette tape, because that’s always what I picture when I hear the recording in the beginning of the song. I didn’t quite manage to capture the vibe I was going for, but I’m proud of the drawing overall. Also I messed up the lyrics slightly- it’s good night not good bye -and it’s driving me insane but I don’t have time to fix it lol. Also 4:42 is the length of the song. Ramble about why I chose red pearl for this piece under the cut (I will admit it was something of a coin flip between whether this song would go to Pearl or Joel, but in the end there was another song on the list that I really wanted to use Joel for. Also Joel would never feel bad about the murder lol /silly) vvvvvvvvv

This song feels so Pearl to me because it’s talking all about how haunted the person feels (technically The Patient from the black parade but I just tried to go off of what the individual song is about rather than the album lore) by all of the bad things they’ve done in the past, claiming not to feel bad and saying their irredeemable, while simultaneously condemning themselves and torturing themselves with guilt. They don’t think they’re worthy of being saved because of “the monsters that [they’ve] been” and sort of switching back and forth between a sort of morbid joy at the freedom of giving in to being unforgivable because they don’t have to search for forgiveness and a terrible sorrow and regret and fear at the destruction in their past, the loss that they caused themselves and are now suffering for, the guilt over the people they’ve hurt. They see no redemption for themselves, and feel both pain at the horrors that set them on this path and peace at letting their worst natures consume them, no longer having to try to walk backwards and instead marching forwards on the path of darkness and, if we tie it back to the album lore, the parade of death. If you have to be there, why not take the lead?

I was thinking about the parallels between Etho and Joel in Limited Life and Wild Life. They need to meet. I need to know how they would react. I can’t decide if they would be best of friends or worst of enemies.

Thank you @falconearring, your comic was the first time I had ever seen a fan comic, and I spent an unjustified amount of time last year reading and rereading it. I never would have had the courage to even make fanart without it. I love the story and the art, and I aspire to make comics like you. Your art taught me a lot, and I still am in awe of the way you tell such a cohesive and immersive story.

some designs I doodled for a random au that I never ended up writing which I had come up with mainly an excuse to have the three of them attempt a bajillion piece puzzle and go absolutely insane trying to finish it (they lost like ten pieces)

The gist was: nosey journalist and local conspiracy theorist meet cryptid in the woods who turns out to have the most normal guy core personality. Like 60% of the au was just the three of them chilling and pursuing their interests and hobbies (which consist of being extremely unsettling and weird at people, and puzzles). Also Pearl’s shirt says Ekko Astral (it’s a band) because in the au she listens to them a lot.

I am trying to teach myself to animate for two reasons. One; because I desperately want to and indie animation inspires awe in me and I hope to someday contribute to that genre, two; to prove that I can. I’m making it my goal to learn to animate with nothing but willpower, a seven dollar app (RoughAnimator if u are curious, I only got it today but so far I really like it!), and a bunch of YouTube tutorials. This is my first animation ever, and I’m already aware that it’s very scuffed, so plz be nice!! I’m still learning!!

Also the walk cycle diagram thingy isn’t mine I found it on google, I couldn’t find who actually made it but credit to them whoever they are.

This is just a sort of first go at messing around with the medium ft. a Grian design I have been figuring out. He’s all bundled up in his stupid hat (/aff I love that stupid hat lol) and everything because I made it for an au, but I want to try to adapt it at some point to be my design for c!grian. It’s meant to be a vaguely sun shaped birthmark type thing around his eye because idk I wanted to lol I want all the winners to have some sort of lasting scars or something to symbolize their win, mostly as an excuse for me to immortalize Joel torreto because I miss wild life </3.

You thought you could criticize me and my indecision? Well, I laugh in the face of genuine and accurate criticism!! In fact, I’ll laugh right now! Hahahahhahahahahahh-

He’s so silly! He’s got a decked out 2 key around his neck because I love the idea of hermits having little mementos from past seasons, and he’s got some red stone dust on his sweatshirt, the silly! Also, all evil laughter and insults aside, I am going to try to come up with more consistent designs for all my favorite blorbos, so I guess consider this the first one, unless I change my mind, which is also likely.

It’s a Pearl!!! In a weird background cause I’m lazy and didn’t feel like finishing it! (Look, drawing shoes is difficult, ok?) any way, look at her!!! Her hair came out so pretty! So many exclamation points!!

Why is she in a tree. The real reason is because shoes are a pain to render, but the really REAL reason is because leaf brushes are fun, but the real REALLY REAL reason is that she’s up to something (shh! Don’t spoil her —e-v-i-l—s-c-h-e-m-e— (<- these words are meant to be crossed out but I dunno how to do that so yeah) fun!)
