I drew Joel and then couldn’t decide who I wanted to draw him with so I drew both. Also no they aren’t floating there was a background but it was bad but I promise there is a chair there it’s just, invisible, ig.

also in other news I’m having a real bad day so um I’m taking a page out of Joel’s-guide-to-convincing-people-to-like-you specifically the one about guilt tripping; please leave comments and nice tags in reblogs on this or any of my stuff guys I’m so so tired and I feel not good, bad even, and I spend so long on these drawings for a couple likes and a few tagless reblogs and like if you write comments and put nice things in the tags you know I read it right? Like it genuinely makes my day and like even if you really loved my artwork and you rarely hand out likes but made an exception or something I don’t know that unless you tell me please tell me if you like my stuff I’m feelin’ real low. It’s another of the artimators!! Cherri!!!!!!!!!! I had to draw @cherrifire of course, because Cherri’s artwork was what first introduced me into the idea of fanart and the concept of being a commission artist, as well as the first person who streams I started watching and whose blog I started following. It’s kinda messy cause I was on a time crunch and trying out some different brushes, and also Cherri is surprisingly hard to find a reference of. Like, Cherri what shoes do you wear. Cause I have never seen them. I ended up going with a fanart I found of her for the rest of the outfit that I couldn’t piece together via stream thumbnails, but Cherri please give us a reference of your sona it’s so pretty and I wanna draw it properly! Anyways yeah. Also as I was drawing this I noticed that Cherri just. Like. Has pointy teeth. I did not notice this before. How have I never noticed this before? Am I the only who just, like missed that the pink flower magic fire eyeball lady has extra sharp danger biteys? Anyway sorry for rambling I love your art Cherri and I love watching your streams and seeing all the stuff you draw in YouTube thumbnails and being like “I know who drew that!” and singing along to the crane wives during your streams and drawing along to your vods!! Idk why they are in the woods lol I just kinda started doodling by the time I got to the background. Also I tried to perspective, that is why we have tiny Etho, except he’s just farther away, so not tiny. Honestly, it was a struggle trying to get it looking like Etho dressing up as Kakashi and not just. You know. Kakashi. I think the makeup for the scar smeared on his mask is a nice touch. I also left his glasses from my design on, because I, too, know the pains of trying to cosplay in glasses. Anyway, all this is to say… I love your writing Nya and I can’t wait to read the fic rahhhh!

So, Etho’s new family, huh?

They both gave him flowers at different points in the episode. Gem gave Etho an allium and Joel gave him a dandelion and I think it’s up to us boat boysers to make dandelions, like, their thing. I will be propaganda-ing that so be warned.

if you are drawing Etho slab fanart, chances are you know that his skin is based of kakashi, and I think we see that reflected. Like, we know that’s meant to be a mask, and that gray on his head band is piece of metal and not more hair, and that’s meant to be sandals, and that’s meant to be vest with pockets. So that’s how we draw it. But what if it wasn’t? I just had this fun idea so I grabbed a reference for his actual Minecraft skin and just. Pretended I had no idea who kakashi was. How would I draw him? How might I interpret his outfit, his hair? Idk, just a silly doodle. Nothing revolutionary. I’d love to see other people try this idea for Etho or any other mycts that you love. To just. Pretend you don’t know what everything is meant to be and see how you might interpret their Minecraft skin.
