I just started getting into the MCR lore, and I started with Danger Days, and oh my goodness gracious I am thoroughly addicted. Also, I did a version with a background, but I wasn’t super happy with how it came out, but I’ll share anyway:

i threw symbolism on this thing like glitter on a school diorama.

just two boys in boats, boying and boating.

That’s all! (Also I know the anatomy and stuff is real…funky, on this one, but idk life is short and I’ve kinda realized that people aren’t really going to react more positively if it’s more polished, so I figure that making everything look perfect isn’t really a great use of my time lol)

Travelling through the woods was a bad idea during the day, but in the middle of the night, alone, it was downright idiotic.

Now Joel's cold (should've brought a sweater like Grian told him to, but, in his defence, that would have ruined his outfit) and wet (fell in a creek) and dirty (fell in a blummin' creek) and he wants to kill himself (no elaboration necessary).

As he's walking, his foot suddenly catches on a branch, pulling him forward and, oh, shoot, he goes falling backwards into the mud and bugs and god-knows-what. And is that a rip in his favourite shirt? Because if it is he's going to burn this entire forest down to the ground and–

"Who are you?"

Joel startles so hard he thinks he may have just had a mini heart attack. Hand on his chest, he catches his breath, craning his head to look up at who just spoke to him.

I read somewhere that rebloobs were better for the art than likes and kept the posts in circulation so that is the reason for the Ian reblags storm. Also lol he is a Disney princess. Also you are the champion of Joel having earrings and we salute. I have been convinced. Also the art is as always amazin’!

I realized I hadn’t drawn Joel recently enough and was suffering from withdrawal like any normal person would, so I searched up smallishbeans and started scrolling through images looking for inspiration to draw, again like any normal person would, when I came across what is possibly the greatest picture to ever be taken

I failed miserably at capturing the look of pure joy on Joel’s face, or the look of absolute smugness on Lizzie’s, which is a shame. Someone more talented than me should redraw

I was listening to How to Be a Heartbreaker by MARINA and I realized it fit the boat boys perfectly

I might go back and add color later, but for now; behold…whatever the hell this is. Go listen to the song please this will make more sense I think?
