I Am Losing MY MIND From This Interaction.

I saw that in Joel’s latest wild life episode he

a) gave Etho a flower and asked him to join his family which *gets real close to the mic like Jimmy does* I have many thoughts on. They have been married now. Happily ever after amen as Joel says in double life.

b) built a car to live in so now he’s living in his car

and I know it was more of a race car than a van, but these two things in one episode have me one idea: smalletho van life. If Joel is going to be living in his car and him and Etho are, well, him and Etho. Then, Etho should also join Joel in his car, and this all just a ploy to convince someone anyone to write a smalletho van life because I think that would be funny. just two guys stuck in a car together at all hours who definitely don’t like each other, gem forced to share a living space. And of course they are weird and gay about it wouldn’t be them if they weren’t.

I looked up van and picked a random picture and it was a ram so I was required by law to change it to doc because doc owns all goat references.

I didn’t remember this until now but now that I do I thought I’d spread it around again because I think Giran needs his own fandom lol.

I don’t remember which “guess the build” video this is from, but at some point Grian gets the prompt “Grian with bubble gum in his hair” only instead of saying Grian it says “Giran”, so Grian decides to build what the prompt says, Giran, which he describes as off brand Grian, so I thought off brand Grian should get some fanart too:

Here he is, in all his glory. I know the final design didn’t have glasses, but Giran gained and then lost them throughout the building process and I felt they should be present too. Still got that bubble gum, though.

Hey guys so I, surprise surprise, have a Joel playlist, but I’ve somehow ended up in a competition with some other rando’s Etho playlist on how long our respective playlists are and I know that they know we’re competing because every time either our playlists get longer we trash talk each other in the descriptions, but their playlist just jumped to like 30-something hours, leaving mine in the dust, so I need your guys’ help finding enough songs to match them, so please reblog or comment with your fav Smallishbeans-core songs so that I can win this stupid competition lol. also in other news I’m having a real bad day so um I’m taking a page out of Joel’s-guide-to-convincing-people-to-like-you specifically the one about guilt tripping; please leave comments and nice tags in reblogs on this or any of my stuff guys I’m so so tired and I feel not good, bad even, and I spend so long on these drawings for a couple likes and a few tagless reblogs and like if you write comments and put nice things in the tags you know I read it right? Like it genuinely makes my day and like even if you really loved my artwork and you rarely hand out likes but made an exception or something I don’t know that unless you tell me please tell me if you like my stuff I’m feelin’ real low. And also send in asks. Please I beg of thee. Art reqs are wide open. They are pulling you in like Charybdis or whatever that vortex monster thing was called. A smallishbeans (wow I type that so often autocorrect thinks that’s a real word lol) because I can. I was bored and had nothing but printer paper and crayola markers on hand so all in all I think it came out pretty well.

I did an art! (I know, crazy right?) I’m still stuck drawing with my finger, which is annoying, but luckily I did this drawing before my pencil broke. Hopefully I can get a new one soon! Anyway, in the meantime, with out further ado:

Oh my gosh Rain thank you sm!!! I got a drawing ask from deityoftherain I feel so famous lol. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to get to all of them right now, but I’ve got one done, and hopefully in the future when I have more time I can do more of them (I'm particularly excited by the one I have planned for Scott, flower husbands my beloved they were literally my first fandom love, so I neeeed to do a piece with them)

but yeah here is my piece for my number 4 song: Sleep, by My Chemical Romance, with Pearlescent Moon

I wanted it to feel like a glitchy and vaguely haunted old cassette tape, because that’s always what I picture when I hear the recording in the beginning of the song. I didn’t quite manage to capture the vibe I was going for, but I’m proud of the drawing overall. Also I messed up the lyrics slightly- it’s good night not good bye -and it’s driving me insane but I don’t have time to fix it lol. Also 4:42 is the length of the song. Ramble about why I chose red pearl for this piece under the cut (I will admit it was something of a coin flip between whether this song would go to Pearl or Joel, but in the end there was another song on the list that I really wanted to use Joel for. Also Joel would never feel bad about the murder lol /silly) vvvvvvvvv

This song feels so Pearl to me because it’s talking all about how haunted the person feels (technically The Patient from the black parade but I just tried to go off of what the individual song is about rather than the album lore) by all of the bad things they’ve done in the past, claiming not to feel bad and saying their irredeemable, while simultaneously condemning themselves and torturing themselves with guilt. They don’t think they’re worthy of being saved because of “the monsters that [they’ve] been” and sort of switching back and forth between a sort of morbid joy at the freedom of giving in to being unforgivable because they don’t have to search for forgiveness and a terrible sorrow and regret and fear at the destruction in their past, the loss that they caused themselves and are now suffering for, the guilt over the people they’ve hurt. They see no redemption for themselves, and feel both pain at the horrors that set them on this path and peace at letting their worst natures consume them, no longer having to try to walk backwards and instead marching forwards on the path of darkness and, if we tie it back to the album lore, the parade of death. If you have to be there, why not take the lead?
