I was thinking abt why I love Spideypool sm and the whole "Wade not knowing Peter is Spidey and falling for both of them" until I realized that's basically Miraculous but in old men yaoi font so it's better.

I’ve loved Spider-Man for as long as I can remember. It started with watching the Fox Kids cartoon as a four-year-old, recording episodes on VHS, I was drawn to Peter Parker’s scrappy, awkward resilience. It didn’t matter that I didn’t fully understand the plot; I knew it mattered. My dad and uncle had collected comics before I was born, so the mythos was already in the background of my childhood. I’d flip through their old issues with reverence, even if I didn’t understand all the references. It felt like peering into a world that had always been there, waiting for me to join.

By third grade, it became my thing. A handful of comics for Christmas was all it took to hook me. I started collecting Ultimate Spider-Man, following it all the way to issue #100. I didn’t just read the stories, I studied them, absorbing the characters, the pacing, and the shifts in art styles. Spider-Man’s world became a lens through which I saw my own, and I began adopting parts of him into my life. Photography became a hobby because Peter had his camera. Science caught my attention because of his intellect and drive to use his powers for good. Spider-Man wasn’t just a character I admired; he was shaping my identity.

One night, a friend was staying over, and I launched into an impromptu presentation on Spider-Man’s artistic evolution. I compared the anxious geometry of Steve Ditko to the bold expressiveness of John Romita Sr., and the sleek energy of Mark Bagley. I wasn’t trying to impress her; I just had so much love and curiosity for the character that it spilled out. Years later, she still remembers it, laughing at how passionately I broke it down. Now, whenever she sees Spider-Man art, she tries to remember the details I shared, even if she doesn’t remember the names of the artists.

Eventually, I stopped collecting regularly around the “Brand New Day” arc. It wasn’t that I stopped caring. The reset of Peter’s lore felt like a betrayal. Years of growth and emotional stakes were erased, and it felt like Peter wasn’t being allowed to grow up. That frustrated me. But I didn’t leave entirely. I kept up with the comics, watched the movies, and played the latest games. No matter how much time passes, there’s always a part of me swinging alongside him.

Sometimes, I boot up one of the Spider-Man games just to swing around, not to finish missions or chase collectibles, but for the sheer joy of it. It’s comforting, like muscle memory for the soul. The rhythm of web-slinging through the city, the rush of wind, the hum of the world below, it calms me. It’s a reminder of being a kid, imagining I could swing between buildings and feeling that sense of possibility.

Spider-Man has always felt like the most human of superheroes. He’s not the strongest, the smartest, or the most selfless. He’s tired, bruised, and sometimes almost ready to quit. But he doesn’t. He keeps showing up because he knows someone has to. That’s why I’ve always needed him, to see that it’s okay to be flawed, to try even when it’s hard.

Sometimes, I think I was raised more by Spider-Man than by anyone else. When I needed guidance, Peter’s quiet resilience stuck with me. He wasn’t rich or invincible; he was exhausted, broke, overwhelmed, and he still showed up. His sense of responsibility wasn’t glamorous; it was messy, earned through failure and trying again. Through him, I learned how to carry pain without letting it consume me and how to make the right choice, even when it costs something. He made it okay to stumble, to feel deeply, and still want to be good. In a strange way, he became the model for the adult I wanted to be.

Because I have an obsession

Also some of these might be slightly Deadpool and Wolverine (movie) specific

•Both Logan and Wade call Peter 'Petey' (or Petey-Pie sometimes in Wade's case) (Logan called Jean Jeannie in the comics so. He would def call Peter Petey)

•Peter and Wade can both safely sleep next to Logan despite his claws coming out sometimes (Wade because he can regenerate obviously and Peter because his spider sense works even in his sleep)

•Logan is slightly more successful than Wade at getting Peter to sleep/eat/rest properly. Mostly because Logan won't take no for answer and will try to wrestle the guy into taking a nap (even though Peter is stronger sometimes he just relents and lets Logan win)

•Speaking of Peter being stronger, it took Logan forever to realize this, (Post DP&W) especially since Peter pulls his punches while fighting. Logan could tell he was really fast and agile so he thought that was the main reason Spidey did so well. So the first time Spidey got buried by some rubble, Logan panics. He thinks there's no way Spidey isn't horribly injured. Probably goes a little crazy and gets a little too violent, ending whatever conflict it was before Spidey can unbury himself from the rubble. He is definitely not super clingy afterwards.

•Logan doesn't fully grasp how strong Spidey is until he like, catches a car going 60 mph or something. He does get an inkling of it though when Peter picks him up and carries him around like he weighs nothing. Wade can also pick Logan up too. He does not like that they can do this. He secretly enjoys it a lot.

•Wade and Logan are, of course, very protective of their mortal squishy boyfriend. This does mean that they jump in front of attacks that he would easily dodge with his Spider sense. Peter does not like this.

•Peter also does not like their wanton violence to each other. Especially since he's the one who usually cleans up the blood. But he really just doesn't enjoy either of them being injured. Even though he knows they will heal, it still bothers him.

•Logan and Wade fight over who gets to patch up Peter when he gets injured enough to need stitches, bandanging up, etc. both claiming they are better at it. In reality it doesn't matter which of them does it, as long as Peter doesn't do it himself, as he sucks at it.

•Logan loves that Peter and Wade are both yappers. He likes that at least one of them is probably talking, if not both of them talking rapidly together. He likes the noise even if he isn't listening, though he usually is.

•Wade is, of course, physically clingy. He's almost always touching one if not both of them. Holding their hand, his hand on their thigh, playing with their hair, pulling them to sit on his lap or sitting on their lap, etc. It becomes infectious to where the three of them are just constantly touching if they're home, probably still holding hands or in close proximity out in public.

•Peter takes many pictures of the other two, most of them candid. Pictures of Logan sleeping on the recliner like an old man, of Wade mid-laughing, of the two of them wrestling, etc.

•Wade is the money-maker, Logan cooks, and Peter keeps their place clean.

•Wade is the most classically 'romantic'. Buying flowers and gifts for the other two, planning fun dates, writing silly love notes, etc. He doesn't really care if he receives things in return, though of course he appreciates it, he just likes to give them things.

•It really bothers Peter how both of them are in chronic pain (which is borderline canon for both Wolvie and DP) and that they both struggle with mental health issues (PTSD for Logan and the voices along with other things for Wade) and tries to find ways to help them since he's smart enough to. Even if it's little things like heated blankets or specially formulated lotions, icy hot, etc. I imagine he would spend a lot of time trying to make them feel better, including trying to develop drugs that actually work with their healing factors.

I could keep going because I think about these three way too often but I'll end it here. Maybe I'll make another post later about more headcanons I have hahah.

Shinso 'proposed' to izuku with 25 cent rings he got from a coin machine on random Tuesday morning

At this point in time they were still just friends and were only playing around, still they both wore the rings proudly on their left hand

They didn't even fit, they had to cut the cheap metal with scissors so they could stretch the ring over their fingers. They also asked mina to borrow clear nail polish to coat the rings in because the cheap material was staining their hands green

They jokingly referred to the other as their fiancee and when they got into small playful arguments they would occasionally 'call off' the engagement only to immediately apologize and 'propose' again

During this time Shinso realized how much he loved the sight of a ring on his finger. It was a toy ring that definitely looked the part but he just fell in love with the way the painted gold caught in the sunlight

He loved talking to izuku and seeing their matching rings together. It's stupid but his little joke about proposing with 25 cent rings made him realize his feelings for the other boy

So shinso began to save up money, and when he finally had a good amount he went out and bought two rings. Rings made out of silver that actually fit and wouldn't stain their fingers. Promise rings.

He presented them to izuku on a weekend when they were hanging out in one of their dorms just talking. He prepared a whole speech about how the toy rings made him realize how he really felt and that he wanted their relationship to be real

I'm imagining a scenario like "I'm not ready to get married right now, were too young to even be thinking of marriage right now, but one day I hope to propose to you with real rings made out of real rings. For now, I hope you'll take these, a promise of a future together."

I mean, if we really wanted comic book movies to be faithful to the source material, rather than spending $100 million on one movie, what you’d do is give $20 million each to five different directors, release all five resulting movies in theatres at the same time, and make sure that each movie’s plot refers to the events of all the other movies’ plots in such a way that whichever of the five movies you watch first will be entirely incomprehensible and every possible viewing order is wrong.

All I need is for someone to gently cup my face and tell me I'm not as doomed as I feel.
