playing rebirth makes me feel SO BAD for reeve/cait sith. he tries SO HARD to convince AVALANCHE that he's truly on their side, that he wants to help people and do the right thing, and right when they're FINALLY warming up to him, rufus/tseng/whoever makes him throw that trust away and give away the keystone. he doesn't WANT TO T-T

even in the beginning of chapter 12, when he pulls cloud aside, he's trying to talk them out of going, so he doesn't have to trick his friends. he doesn't want to betray these people who are trying to save the planet.

side note. do we think any other exectives know about reeve's little switcheroo with the wanted posters??

i love leslie kyle. he's:

1) helping literal terrorists go do more terrorism bc at least they're not his sex trafficking mob boss

2) just looking for his fiancee/girlfriend (he says girlfriend in TKAA:ATSS but says fiancee in remake continuity so...)

3) going to eventually becomes friends/coworkers with kyrie canaan. the future angel of the slums kyrie canaan.

4) voiced by mark whitten. i just like him, really.

5) still wearing that UGLY LEOPARD PRINT JACKET. STILL.

aw man. everyone was right. rufus stinks. i forgot he was IMMUNE TO ELEMENTAL DAMAGE?? HOW??

plus, i'm going on vacation, and i will not get another opportunity to try again until i get back. he's just gonna haunt me for a week. i'm gonna watch so many videos about hard mode rufus. i'm gonna get him. i am not going to pysche myself out of fighting him. i am gonna get him. he's gonna say "and yet here. you. are." in that stupid tone that i like so much when he summons darkstar. and i'll blow him up.
