Yeah i have a dark past (being 13). Just an absolutely horrible backstory (being 13). It would keep you up at night if i told you about it (i was 13 one time)

“people who have never left their home towns are so small minded and boring” is something I wish we could leave behind because on one hand it’s an incredibly classist statement (what if they don’t have the money to leave? what if they have family obligations? why is the default to call them uninteresting when they didn’t have the funds or privilege to go to school or travel?) and on the other………….have we considered that some ppl are happy? that keeping roots in the soil you were born, staying in a community that nourishes you, isn’t embarrassing or shameful?

what I wouldn't give to have the gastric constitution of a nine-year-old again. like you know when you're in grade school and you're like okay I'm gonna have some gushers and pizza and one of those dubious chalky grocery store cookies and then go run around with my friends! and now as an adult if I eat the wrong brand of peanut butter I have to lie down for an hour

When I did my hobbies I used to often think "man, I'm so glad I have all my limbs and fingers" but then I felt I was overly attached to my limbs and that could be problematic
