This just reaffirms unto me that my little pony is actually a deeply rooted narrative about the nature of class systems, wherein it follows a character who, perchance, was born in the right environment to have royal ties, higher education than the average noble class because of this and, when having displayed themselves to be a potential threat with the skillset they have they become indoctrinated into the royal family. This mind you, was easily done by the royal family requesting they keep a daily report happening as they are tasked with observing the daily lives of the middle and lower class citizens.

Mlp is very clearly a deeply thought out warning to society about how easily one can be swayed into another person's goals and ambitions while fully believing that this is what they too wish to have.

my little pony is problematic because it promotes a positive view of monarchy and subtly suggests the inferiority of earth ponies, none of which are represented in the royal family. also notice how equestria's monarchs call themselves princesses rather than queens, projecting a false image of innocence to their subjects. they should have unionized and sent celestia to the glue factory
