Slightly cleaned up version of a sketch/doodle I made in class. Flower person instead of mushroom person 🤷♀️
The second half to my illustration final! I thought an eerie forest setting was fitting of the witch I designed ^^

Old art incoming but not to old. No warnings should apply.
It's Salem Blair's turn!
Salem has probably changed the least, I've yet to really feel the need to change her to much. She still gets her smirk/cunning smile, dark hair pulled up into a bun with strands framing her face, and love of fine/formal clothing. I also still try to give her a gothic/romantic goth vibe and I've yet to change her mask design.
That being the biggest changes are the smaller details and the design of her clothes/dress. She has far more red accents to tie her into the Crow Family, particularly red gems. She also gets a subtle weapon at her hip in both drawings, one that can be easily disguised as another accessory to those who aren't looking for it. And her eyes have gone from black to silver.
(Also- bonus demon appearance in her first ever drawing)
Hope you don't mind me answering this over here rather than my fandom blog! Wanted to draw a mer!Thorne design in response ^^
To answer your question- my first thought was immediately that Thorne would be a shark mermaid! (and more specifically, a Great White Shark). Making her one of the ocean's notable hunters seemed fitting.
There's not a whole lot of species specific notes for the design itself to be made- her tail moves side to side like most non-mammal aquatic creatures, and is countershaded (not seen here but the dark coloring stretches across her back and starts fading just as it gets to her neck). I don't know if the gills should logically be on her neck instead, but I really, really love torso/chest gills. And ofc she got the teeth and a big ol dorsal fin on her back.
She still gets into a lot of fights and trouble as a mermaid, so her tail is covered in additional scars. How many of these are from humans/fellow mermaids and how many are from sea creatures? idk lol. I just know the sharp teeth definitely make her more of a menace.
But ye that's about it. Thanks a whole lot for the ask @rainbowprisimatic!! <3 It was super fun getting to draw Thorne as a mermaid lol.
Also posting this drawing of Thorne separately because I like it a lot <3
do you have a skug OC or self insert? can we see them :D
This may or may not come as a surprise, but I actually don't! When it comes to fandom stuff I am incredibly boring. Mad kudos to people (@staticart, @neims-skeleton-obsession and @wolffe-makes-art come to mind) who come up with headcanons and create OCs in already-existing universes and such because they're always so interesting when they pop up on my dash. I've just never really considered making them on my own! Although now that it's been asked I'll probably think about it more xD Do I give off vibes from any specific discipline? Would you look at me and go 'that guy definitely gets up to all sorts of mischief.' Would you sic the Cleavers on me :[
My take on Tanith from the Skullduggery Pleasant Series!! She's one of my favs <3 absolutely love just about every scene she's in.

Hey everyone! I've seen many artist ask games going around on Tumblr over the years and I've always wanted to make one of my own. If you're reblogging from someone other than the source, and you'd like to help foster a bit more community here on Tumblr, consider sending an ask to the person who put the post your way! :) Without further ado:
1. When did you start creating art?
2. Do you do art in any professional capacity? (Graphic design, commissions, animation, etc.)
3. What are your favorite subjects to draw? (OCs, your fan faves, etc.)
4. What's your least favorite part of the body to draw, if any?
5. What piece of art are you still proud of to this day? (Show or describe)
6. Favorite and least favorite angles/perspectives to draw?
7. Who are some artists that have inspired you?
8. How would you describe your art style?
9. What's the longest you've ever suffered from artblock?
10. How do you deal with art block?
11. Have you ever drawn a meme with your OCs or canon characters from a fictional media?
12. Ever participated in a multi-artist collaboration (3 or more) such as a multi-animator project?
13. What kind of art do you personally not see the appeal of, and why?
14. Do you prefer to make fan content or original content?
15. Do you/have you participated in Artfight or art trades in general?
16. What was something you used to struggle to draw with confidence/ease, but have now mastered?
17. Your personal favorite works of art (not made by you) are...?
18. Do you typically use filters on your art?
19. What's your biggest insecurity when it comes to your artwork?
20. What motivates/inspires you artistically? (topics, emotions, etc)
