Prompt #7

Prompt #7

The prince gulped, as he bent on his knees in front of the villain. "What do you want?" He whispered, tears pricking out of his eyes. His family lies dead around him.

The villain smirked, "You. I want you." The prince looked up, with his lifeless eyes.

"No. Never. Just kill me, I'd rather die." The prince breathed, his voice hoarse. His throat was sore. He ached with pain.

The villain's smirk faded. He raised one of his eyebrows. "Perhaps-", He began but stopped mid-sentence, frowning at the prince.

The prince swiftly stood up, glancing around like he was trying to find something. As a matter of fact, he was. His eyes landed on his father. His father lay silent, a sword thrust through his stomach.

He walked to the body, took out the sword, and without a second thought, stabbed it in his abdomen. The villain gaped.

Blood oozed out of the prince's figure, as he collapsed onto the ground, joining his family.

Prompt #83

(Might make a part two if there are enough requests!! Enjoy :)

By @writingpromptsworld

"You've changed." The hero said, carefully. It had been years since they last saw the villain. They had disappeared after their last fight without a trace. The hero, despite themself, had tried to track them down, find out about their whereabouts. But, in the end, they had come up with nothing. It was like the villain never existed.

The villain chuckled. "Yes, I have better ways to annoy you now." The hero's brows knitted together.

"You're no longer causing trouble." The hero continues, ignoring the villain's comment.

The villain glanced away, their expression turning serious.

"Why?" The hero asks, taking a tentative step forward.

"I got bored. Besides, it's not fun anymore. We fight, one of us wins, we fight again. The whole routine." They gesture in the air dismissively.

The hero didn't quite believe them. "You got bored of fighting?" They asked, a little in disbelief. The villain loved to fight, they loved the thrill. Both of them did. So, it didn't make sense when they said it wasn't fun anymore.

"Yes, hero." The villain responded, staring into their eyes.

"I don't believe you."

"It's the truth."

"Then look me in the eyes when you say it."

The villain clenched their jaw, tensing up. The hero knew them so well. But they couldn't just tell them that it was because of the hero, that the hero had somewhere along the way convinced the villain that there was more to life than fighting and empty battles. That they could let go of the hatred and not resist life anymore.

The hero took a step closer, filling the gap between them. "Villain." They whispered.

The villain gulped, their eyes flickering with uncertainty. "What?"

"You can say it." The hero coaxed, their voice quiet, expression gentle.

The villain didn't want to. They wanted to resist, hold on to the last bit of what they were before the hero entered their life. However, it was all in vain. "Fine. It's because of you."

The hero smiled faintly, their fingers intertwining with the villain's. "I'm glad you're back."

Prompt #53

By @writingpromptsworld

A forming of thoughts seethed into the hero’s head, whilst he watched the villain flirt with their sidekick. Perhaps, a feeling that he wasn't quite ready to name it yet. An emotion that he so long ago buried inside of him that was menacing to rise again. He watched as his sidekick blushed, hearing the villain's words. What words, the hero didn't want to know.

When he first arrived at the location, he didn't expect their sidekick to be with the villain. But now what? The sidekick is with the villain, what was he to make of that? Was the sidekick betraying him? He shook his head, trying to get it out of his head, even though he failed to do so miserably. He was hiding behind a building, watching the villain and the sidekick still talking about something without a care in the world. He decided to slowly move out from where he was hiding, and just face him.

The villain and the sidekick didn't notice the hero until he was literally in front of them, with a gun in his hand pointed at them.

"What the hell are you doing here?" The hero sneered. The sidekick's eyes widened, as the villain looked between them.

"Listen, it's not as it seems, okay?" The sidekick attempted to say, the hero advanced towards him, slowly. Almost like a predator.

"Oh, yeah? I knew you'd betray the company. That you'd betray me-"

"I was just-", The villain cut him off, as he too, daringly walked to the hero.

"He's here on my request." The villain murmured, his voice deep. The hero hated himself for shuddering at it. He kept his hands steady around the gun, but he didn't know if he could do it much longer, because the way the villain was watching closely while walking toward him, made him want to go weak on his knees. A beast awakening inside of him, wanting more. His breath halted, when the villain took the gun out of his hand, tossing it aside, carelessly. "You're not as mighty as you think, hero."

The sidekick stood where he was, stunned.

The villain's scent was so strong, the hero had to move his face away. The other continued, "You know, your sidekick is too loyal to you, he deserves more appreciation rather than your doubt. He'd never betray you, from what I've learned over the past few years fighting you both."

"You don't know him." The hero willed himself to say.

"Well, clearly, you don't either." The villain threw back, arching an eyebrow at the hero.

"It doesn't matter. He-,"

"Look, he came on my request to the superhero. You can ask him, to confirm it. Now, be a good boy and apologize to the sidekick, yeah?" The hero stubbornly glanced away, silent. If someone needed to apologize, it was the sidekick, not him. He should've told the hero about this beforehand, shouldn't he? He scoffed, shuffling his feet to the sidekick.

"You don't have to. It was kind of my fault, too. Should've informed you about this." The sidekick muttered, a little sheepishly. The hero exhaled.

"I'm sorry, still. Sorry for doubting you." The hero said, the sidekick smiled a little and ruffled his hair. The hero bit his lip, shy all of a sudden. The sidekick knew just the right buttons to push to make the hero all coy and whatnot. The villain stood there, smiling.

The real reason the villain had summoned the sidekick was to discuss the hero's birthday party, which the villain planned to throw at his house, but the hero didn't need to know that. At least, not before his birthday.

Prompt #33

CW: implied sexual content

"She was checking you out." The hero pressed his body flush against the villain's. The villain bit his lip and then licked it. The hero followed the movement with his eyes.

"I-...are you jealous?" The villain asked, swallowing. This felt thrilling, but surely dangerous with the way the hero wouldn't let him go the moment that girl left them alone. The backstreet was grave, with nothing but the loud music coming from the club that was placed behind it.

"So what if I am? You're mine, no one's allowed to look at you that way but me." The hero growled, and it went straight to the villain's...let's just say his body reacted in a way that the hero must've felt. "Oh, this is turning you on, is it. You like it when I'm possessive, don't you?" His body rubbed against the villain's, and the villain let out a low groan that was something close to an illicit sound. The hero smirked, and the villain knew they were going to be up all night.

Snippet #12

The hero blinked, trying to clear their vision. And, when they did, they saw the villain. Sitting tall, their arms mindlessly playing with a steel chain. The villain looked up.

“Oh, you’re awake.” The villain said, cocking their head to the right, measuring up the hero. “I thought you’d never wake up again, silly me.” They chuckled.

“Where am I?” The hero asked, perplexed. They attempted to move their head around but it hurt. Everything hurt. Moving hurt even more. They coughed a little.

“You’re…well, I can’t exactly tell you, you see. What I can tell you is that you’re safe here. With me.” The villain murmured, standing up from the chair they were sitting in and walking to the hero, who slowly awakened more and more. The villain strolled to them and sat down on the bed besides the hero.

“And, how do I know I’m safe? With you of all people?” The hero’s pained voice cut through the cold air, and the villain subtly shivered.

“I haven’t hurt you anywhere, have I?” The villain said, raising their eyebrows. The hero sat up and checked their face and body for any signs of harm. But there was nothing. Absolutely nothing. How?

“Why am I here, then? Did you kidnap me?” The hero squinted, their mouth turned into a frown.

“No, no.” The villain loudly laughed as if this was all a joke to them. “We were fighting and when I was about to strike you, you fainted on me. Literally in my arms.” They said, with a little smile.

The hero’s face went red, embarrassment coursing though their entire face. They nervously scoffed. “You’re lying.”

“I’m not. Unfortunately. I really wanted to win with that strike, but then you just went off on me.” The villain pouted, and the hero, god forbid, thought it was cute. They shook their head, this wasn’t the time. They needed to get back to their agency as soon as possible.

“Look, thank you for “saving” me. But like, I really need to go now.” The hero muttered, moving their legs to stand up. The villain protested, but they didn’t listen, and just as they stood up, they fell on the floor on their knees.

The hero frowned and then groaned, unknown weakness making them dizzy. "Did you...drug me?" They asked.

The villain came behind them and helped to get them on their feet. "No, I gave you some meds. But you're still dizzy, which means you need food and water in your system." They guided the hero to the bed again, and sat them down. "I'll be back with some food, and some water for you. Stay here. Don't move, okay?"

The hero nodded, hesitantly. They felt confused, why was the villain being so nice? Why were they helping them? All kinds of questions formed in their head but before they could ask them the villain disappeared out of the room.

Snippet #9

The hero screamed in agony as the blood oozed out of his body, and into the pool of liquid beside him. His voice echoed in the empty vast sky, and then nothing. An anguished silence. And then, a thud. He fell on his back, the villain going out of his vision for a second.

As if on cue, or maybe it was just mocking him, it started raining. Heavy droplets made his eyes so heavy, he fought to open them. The villain stayed where he was, a knife dripping blood mixed with the rain, onto the wet ground. The hero's breathing slowed.

"Why." He choked, his body nearly tearing itself apart by the force it took to say that. He shivered, the coldness of the raindrops getting to him. He tried inhaling. His lungs hurt, and his heart more. The villain dropped to his knees, his eyes filling with tears. He bawled. The hero's ears rang with the noise.

"I love you, but...but I couldn't. I couldn't be better for you. Loving me comes with a price." The villain rasped, he dropped the knife and walked to the lying figure. His gaze crossed with the hero's as he continued, "This is the price." The hero's heart clenched. He had failed. Failed to change the villain. Failed to save him. Failed to save himself. Failed himself. He breathed out last time, before his body gave up.

(Not me listening to "Stalker's Tango" by Autoheart while writing this. The song goes perfectly with it though)

Prompt #58

“Were they good?” The villain asked from where they were sitting behind their desk, their legs propped up on the desk. Their eyes held a fire, and the hero swallowed painfully.

“Who?” They asked, pretending not to know who the villain was referring to. But, they knew. The villain was asking about the date they brought home last night, but they had no idea how the villain found out. They had made sure to disable the cameras located around their house before they went out. So, how? How did the villain know?

“You know who I’m referring to.” The villain said, calmly. But there was a hint of venom behind it, a possessiveness trailing along. The hero frowned, looking away. “Tell me, were they good? As good as me?”

“How did you know-” The hero began, the villain cut them off with a curt shake of their head as they took their legs off the table and stood up. The walk was slow, and deliberate, making sure to put pressure into each step as they came and stood right in front of the hero.

“I know, sweetheart. But that’s not important. I asked you a question.” The villain said, their hand twitched and they brought to the hero’s cheeks.

The hero faltered. What was happening? The villain knew and they didn’t seem to be mad, like previous times when they would lash out at the hero and tell them that they belong to them and them alone. But this? This was unexpected. They took a deep breath, and then: “No.” They answered.

And as if the villain could detect it, they spoke up: “You’re a terrible liar, darling.” They said and smiled, almost sadly. The hero raised a nervous eyebrow.

“You know…I wish you were honest with me. But, it’s okay. I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again.” The villain said, their hand stoping the grazing on the hero’s cheek and falling down. They turned around and sauntered to the set of knives they had, packed away, in a glass cabinet attached to the wall. The hero took in a sharp breath, realizing what the villain was implying.

“You didn’t-” They mumbled, clenching their jaw.

“I already have. I’ll let you say goodbye to the body if you want.” The villain said, examining a knife that had hints of blood left on it, evidence that what they were saying was true. The hero stayed silent. Because that’s what they did. They couldn’t do anything, they were bound to the villain. Whether they liked it or not.

Prompt #26

"You're addicting. Just like my morning coffee. You awaken every molecule in my body, every time I consume you." The villain breathed against the hero's lips, capturing them again. And then, grinning.

The hero invaded the villain's mouth with their tongue, rolling it all around his mouth. They brought them closer by their waist. Their thin waist, that the hero just wanted to mark it all over. They pulled away, to let both of them draw breath. "Am I, now?" They asked.

"Unfortunately, I don't get to consume you every morning." The villain replied. Their eyes spotted the exposed collar bones of the hero, from the very low v-cut button-up shirt they were wearing. And, they felt the urge to mark it. The hero smiled, licking their lips.

"Someday, that will happen. Okay?" The hero said, sighing.

Prompt #32

“Get your hands off of me, I don’t need your help.” The hero grunted, moving backwards. The arm hurt where the bullet was pierced by the supervillain. But, fortunately the villain ran him away. Telling the supervillain that he’s got the hero “under his control”, the hero had rolled his eyes at that. The supervillain was hesitant, however, backed off. Giving the villain a secret nod, that the hero definitely saw. And, then he vanished.

The villain raised his eyebrows, retreating his hands. His expression exasperated. If he didn’t stop the bleeding soon, it will lead to the hero dying in less than 10 minutes. He could not afford the hero’s death. “Stop protesting, will you? Just let me help you, please. I know-…how to treat a gunshot wound, okay?” His eyes were so soft, that the hero almost couldn’t believe it.

The hero stayed silent. His eyes felt heavy, his head foggy. He strained to focus on one thing. The villain was right. He felt helpless in the moment. Deciding that he should let the villain take over, he muttered a small, “fine.” The villain went to get a cold wet towel, with a first-aid kit that looked quite too used. He sighed, once the villain came back.

The villain’s hands were cold against his warm skin, and he took a deep breath. “Talk to me, you have to stay awake until I finish this. Take deep breaths. In and out. In and out.” The hero wrestled himself to follow the villain’s commands. “Yes, you’re doing good.” When the villain was finished, he smiled at the hero.

The hero whispered, “Thank you.” He still struggled to breathe properly, but seeing the villain’s smile gave him some comfort and, perhaps, a little ease.

Prompt #81

It's not every day that the hero has a day off, so when they do get one, they decide to spend it by going on a blind date.

The moment they arrive outside the restaurant, though, their heart starts beating loudly. They tell themself it was most likely because they hadn't been on a date in years, and not because they knew it was also the villain's day off and couldn't help but think if they were the heroes-

No, that couldn't be. Ridiculous, they thought, shaking their head.

After parking their car, where they saw the same car that was identical to the villain's, they again told themself that it was just a coincidence. Surely, the villain couldn't be their blind date. Maybe someone just really liked the same designer car as the villain.

They walked inside, nervous but excited. Their date hadn't arrived yet, so the hero sat down at the table they had booked, anxiously looking around.

"Are you kidding me? You're my blind date?" A voice spoke up from behind them and the hero's heartbeat picked up again. Villain. What the-

The hero's head snapped to the left and they saw the villain in -God forbid- one of the best outfits they had ever worn. They stared at each other for a second and then stood up abruptly.

"Well..." The hero coughed. "What a surprise." They said, blushing slightly.

The villain rolled their eyes, raising a thick brow. "Yes. And not so pleasant one." They snorted. The hero's face reddened. The villain sat down in the chair opposite them.

The hero frowned in confusion. The villain just picked up the menu. "I'm not going to leave just because you're my date. I'm hungry, might as well order something." They said, glancing up. "Sit down already, and stop ogling me."

The hero felt as if their face was going to explode any second in embarrassment, but they sat down, trying to hide the growing smile on their face.

The date lasted longer than they expected. The villain didn't leave even after they were done eating, instead, they offered to pay for the dessert. And the hero couldn't be happier their blind date was the villain.
