Why do this challenge now? Since DGAW went live six years ago, the DC fandom event corner has changed! A lot of excellent ship events are happening all year around and DGAW has always attracted more gen prompts, so highlighting Dick's gen side during his 85th Anniversary makes for a good challenge to celebrate the character's milestone. This is your excuse to write the Dick Grayson adventures you think you can't! 🐦

i have this thing in my head when it comes to creating art for fandoms and it's like a need for everything to be as canon as possible, I need them to speak EXACTLY like how they would in the actual show/game/etc.
so imagine the complete disarray I am in now that I'm into comics where any comic writer can write a character however way they want...
I genuinely don't know what people mean when they say that someone is "out of character" in a certain comic, because I have no idea what's IN character for them...is there an original comic where everyone's personalities are set in stone and every other comic is trying to replicate it that I just don't know about 😵💫
this is a comic my dear friend @wolf-aid had made using batman both because he’s a very dear character to me and because we are hoping that a popular character will bring more attention to the comic itself.
the comic says most of what i can say already — but i’ll say it again. ibrahim is an incredibly sweet young man who i’ve been close friends with for a few months now. he and his family need help to be warm, to eat, to get medicine, and to survive — hopefully soon they can escape their awful circumstances.

I like to think that thanks to Jason's death, Dick's hair became straighter and let it grew bacause he couldn't care less. He was trying to be a good brother to Tim tho, and Timmy was trying to also be a good brother but you know, he was doing the best a little kid could know.
