One Day More

Time for two new gems for the "replace all canon gems with ocs" au that I've had sitting around for a while. Never had the inspiration to finish them until now!

Stabbingtonite (purple gem; designed by @pocket-gems ) is actually a Siberite. When she was newly emerged, she was presented before Yellow Diamond for inspection.... With Pink Diamond monitoring to learn how to run inspections on gems that warranted the Diamonds' attention.

Pink.... thought the name of this gem type unfitting. And suggested they call them something more fitting. Like Stabbingtonite; since their gemstones were shaped like knives.

Yellow did not find this idea amusing, but the name stuck on this Siberite once Pink was shattered. To honor the lost Diamond.

Antmony (blue snake gem) was assigned to Stabbingtonite as a sort of controller. An interpreter of the Diamond's more complicated orders, and making sure the orders were followed through properly.

The two are a much more competent Jessie and James from Pokemon. Flirtatious at each other, and dancing romantically as they monologue about their opponent's doom. They are very much in love, but have never fused, despite it being legal in this au. They've never seen the point.

These two are assigned to the doomed Earth planet to gather humans for the human zoo. During era three, they break up for a while to find themselves outside of their assigned realtionship. Wanting to figure out if their love was just a product of their assigned roles, or if it was real. They do love each other dearly, but want to use the new lens of era three to inspect the validity of their relationship outside of serving the Diamonds.

Antimony uses they/them pronouns and Stabbingtonite is fine with you calling them she/him/them, whatever.

All the various gems in Homeworld Bound! Some notes:

The Zircons from the Trial are okay and seem to be running for some form of election. Mayhaps the president of homeworld?

There's a big shot of the throne room with some distance gems. We can see a Jade and a Ruby together, Lemon Jade seemingly okay and fused, a quartz soldier and one of the unidentified green gems from the era 3 ball, and the tour group.

The tour group has a plum pearl with a forehead gem giving the tour. (I left two shots here to give you a view of her gem). We can also see a squareidot and a sapphire in this group.

A wall gem seems to be free to roam! And three pebbles are seen outside of Pink's room

The two gems Yellow heals are currently unknown. The orange one seems to be a nose gem and the blue one is a chest gem. They seem to know each other.

Also the fact that Yellow seems to be able to go into a bubble without popping it? But off topic.

Cherry Quartz and an Aquamarine seem to be hanging out on the happiness clouds Blue has.

Gulliver Dirgefall (skeleton/dullahan hybrid - he/him); a former theater lit teacher who became the vice principal. Teacher supervisor to the gsa. Married to Hyacinth!

Hyacinth Dirgefall (tabaxi/satyr hybrid - he/him); the sign language teacher at school. Married to Gulliver!

Sinensis is actually a highly popular comedian in his universe. He has plenty of stand up specials and shows around the world. His preferred style of comedy is day-to-day slapstick, but he does do stand up! Unfortunately, I am not actually funny. So I couldn't tell you what joke he's telling here.

Some background students, and a minorly relevant student from hybrid high!

Drosden (Illithid/Drider hybrid - He/Him - Junior) is a pretty laid-back, token cishet dude (but like. good and nice). On the football team. Just kinda all around a relaxed dude who looks after the little guy.

Buck (Aarakocra/human hybrid - He/Him - Sophmore) is the school's star track runner. He's super into anime and Naruto runs everywhere. He’s a real “bro” guy and refers to everyone as “bro” or “dude”. You wanna watch this new isikei that came out, bro? Or you wanna talk about the latest issue of that one manga, dude? Grew up with Zipper and sees her as a little sister, even if he's since been adopted out of the foster home they grew up in.

Zipper (unknown hybrid/classified as a "chimera" - They/She - Freshman) is incredibly eccentric. They adore cryptozoology, and like talking about the logistics behind (silly- not actively harmful) conspiracy theories. Whether they actually believe these theories is up to debate. Currently living in a foster home that promises to keep her and her fellow fosters homed even after she ages out of the system. Zipper is partnered with Percy for a group project.

All the Crystal Gems from the RACGWOCS au! Decided to keep Corundum but I'm gonna edit his story a bit. His redone bio will be uploaded later. But! All the cgs! Height ref for em really. Corundum is about Pearl height.

I don’t necessarily think that two gems fused together have to make the same gem as two other gems of the same type do. I mean, fusions name themselves right? Who’s to say a Ruby and a Sapphire couldn’t make a Tourmaline or something like that. 

So here’s (pink) Porcelain. These two aren’t good for each other. Their trama mixed together is not good. They create a toxic fusion where they’re trying to lay their traumas onto each other and well…. It doesn’t end well. They aren’t stable and fall apart with ease. 

(Design notes: three eyes, four arms. Her right bottom arm is broken off and glued back on poorly. Her “base” is craked in a manner where if she isn’t careful, her entire base will break off. I decided against doing a reset version of this little lady unlike I did with Harlequin.)
