Some quick sketches of my chimera (it's not colored yet) đșđȘ¶đ
New Hybrid High kids! Mostly minor
Basil (Chimera Hybrid - He/Him - Junior). This guy is introverted and quiet. He doesnât really talk to others outside his best friend, Buck. He runs track, and met Buck there during try outs when Buck was a freshman. Buck was the only guy who didnât stare for his weird anatomy- but rather for his great running skills! Basil got into anime because of Buck, and is looking into making his own cosplays. Basil has a.... very big crush on Buck. But he just canât say anything! Buck obviously just thinks of him as a friend, and he wouldnât want to ruin their friendship. (Buck hasnât really thought of him that way before, but would 100% date Basil if Basil just said something first) His parents are both Hyrbids themselves, and the composition of species in his blood include cartoon, aasimar, centaur, and atlantean.Â
Just Kidding (Oni/Myconid Hybrid - She/Her - Senior). Zipperâs older foster sister. Just Kidding has been in two other foster homes before being shoved into this one. Because of this, Just Kidding doesnât see this as a permanent home. Even if she loves her other foster siblings to bits, she knows sheâll probably just be shoved to another home. Or, soon enough, the streets once she turns 18. She knows the system and how it works, even if this foster home touts that she will not be pushed to the street and has a home there so long as she needs one. Just Kidding refuses to get close to anyone except her foster siblings. Even then, she keeps them at an arms length. Itâs only a matter of time. Just Kidding is really into tech and mechanics, and is usually tinkering with something or covered in oil.

Drosden (Illithid/Drider hybrid - He/Him - Junior) is a pretty laid-back, token cishet dude (but like. good and nice). On the football team. Just kinda all around a relaxed dude who looks after the little guy.
Buck (Aarakocra/human hybrid - He/Him - Sophmore) is the school's star track runner. He's super into anime and Naruto runs everywhere. Heâs a real âbroâ guy and refers to everyone as âbroâ or âdudeâ. You wanna watch this new isikei that came out, bro? Or you wanna talk about the latest issue of that one manga, dude? Grew up with Zipper and sees her as a little sister, even if he's since been adopted out of the foster home they grew up in.
Zipper (unknown hybrid/classified as a "chimera" - They/She - Freshman) is incredibly eccentric. They adore cryptozoology, and like talking about the logistics behind (silly- not actively harmful) conspiracy theories. Whether they actually believe these theories is up to debate. Currently living in a foster home that promises to keep her and her fellow fosters homed even after she ages out of the system. Zipper is partnered with Percy for a group project.

Day 6 - Myth, The Chimera, from Greek mythology is a fire breathing being fusion between a Lion, Goat and Snake! Found in Lycia, this monster in it's story was slain by a hero riding atop a pegasaus. Chimeras however, are able to be more than just this combination. As it turns out, the Hydra and Cerberus are both siblings to the monster!
Nine and his crew cameo in TUM chapter 9.2.
Wish the whole chapter was just about them, so we could see more of their life together. Unlike the movie here we can see them in casual clothes.
Also this chapter shows again how much Chimera, Slice and Mummy care about Nine.
I really miss them.

Decided to make her a mix of spiky and curly, and I also thought âletâs just make her mildly jackedâ so she has really powerful front legs now that is my hc. In my original designs she actually looked like she wouldâve been a walking taser because I made her so silky and wiry and Jesus that would pick up so much static electricity. One could even said she had lightning powers.
To be honest Iâve been messing with her design for a while bc I have NO clue what her personality is gonna be until the book actually drops, so this is prone to change. One thing I think I will keep is the little crescent-moon hair piece on her forehead because yâall I think itâs kinda adorable like what.
