Into The Future World Building Pt1: Economy

So I know I mainly post art, and that's what most of ya'll follow me for, but I've been working on a WoF AU for the better part if 2 years now and I'd love to share some of the world building I've done! I decided today I'll share some of what the tribe's economies rely on. I'll do Pantala once I work on it more!

SkyWings - SkyWing economy is mainly built around the gems and precious stones mined from the Claws of the Clouds mountains. A lot of what they export consists of polished crystals and delicately handcrafted jewlery. SkyWing jewlers often put years into perfecting their craft and queens from around the continent go to them for specially crafted crowns. Nearly every crown a royal wears nowadays was painstakingly handcrafted by SkyWing artisans. Skywings also pride themselves on their forges and metalwork. Whether it's Intricate jewlery, ceremonial daggers, or a prosthetic you need, a SkyWing artisan will be able to make it.

MudWings - MudWings pride themselves on their medicinal skills. Some of the best hospitals exist in the MudWing kingdom. They also have great orphanages, retirement homes and assisted care facilities.

SeaWings - The SeaWing economy thrives on tourism. Some come for the gorgeous beaches and warm weather year round while some come for the ancient ruins found on the isles. The most prevalent of these locations is Sunset Isle. Sunset Isle holds one of the oldest towns on Phyrria and boasts a rich history and gorgeous beaches.

RainWings - RainWing economy is also heavily based on tourism. Dragons from both continents travel to the RainWing Territory for the welcoming atmosphere, warm weather, and amazing festivals. The most popular of which is the Snowdrop Festival. In the RainWing Territory, it rains way more during the winter than the summer, however in the coldest part of the winter cold fronts come down from the IceWing Dynasty and freeze raindrops to the trees. It's around this time when the Snowdrop Festival takes place. More on this and holidays in a later post.

NightWing - NightWings are the academics and their economy is built around education. The NightWing Suzerainty boasts some of the best colleges on the continent and dragons will travel all the way from pantala just to attend one. The best education you can possibly receive is through these colleges. NightWings also make a fortune by supplying armor during wars.

SandWings - there are two things that make up the SandWing economy. The SandWing Country has loads of wide, open land, making cattle farms and ranches incredibly popular, especially in the Possibility district. The second thing is mercenary work. The SandWing Country boasts one of the largest and most successful mercenary guilds on the continent and are often utilized in war, even by opposing sides.

IceWings - Exports are integral to IceWing economy. They specialize in food preservation through means of frostbreath and salt mined within their own territory. Without this means of preservation, trade of food would've never been possible. This allowed cold drinks to be served in the RainWing, SeaWing and SandWing territories and for food to be transported all the way to Pantala.

Im working on a Wings of Fire roleplay server called Emporer of the Sun that's based on my apocalypse AU and I'd like to know if anyone's interested? There will be a prophecy and plot, however I'll have a bunch of other stuff for people not involved in the prophecy.

80 years ago, the kingdoms lived in peace. The SandWing kingdom had a motto, "may the sun never set on the SandWing kingdom". This was the kingdoms pride. One hot evening, SandWings gathered at the palace to attend the official inauguration of the tribes forst animus in years as the royal animus. This animus was young and foolish. His name was Helios. He had no experience with animus magic and never knew hust how strong his magic was. Noone at the time knew. None would know until it was too late. Helios held his talon up amd declared towards the sky "May the sun never set on the SandWing kingdom!" As the crowd clapped and cheered, Helios immediately knew something was wrong. He felt an indescribable shift in the hot evening air and a course of power through his claw tips. By the time he realized what he'd done, it was too late. The sun would never set again. The NightWings were the first to notice something was wrong. They noticed within less than a day since they're nocturnal. The queen was able to react fast enough and evacuated the entire tribe underground is less than a week, as they already had an emergency response plan and a basic settlement underground incase of any wars or disasters. The IceWings were next. The oppresive heat quickly melted the arctic and they evacuated much too late. Many died on the migration south and only a handful still survive. Most dragons believe them to be extinct and theyve lost their frostbreath abilities. The SeaWings quockly moved into deeper water to escape the heat. Now they live in the dark depths of the open ocean. The RainWings immediately cut off trade and shut their borders. Not many dragons know what goes on in the once prosperous rainforest anymore. The SandWings however, saw this as a blessing. They all united under Helios, now Emporer Helios. Helios took over the scorpion den. He views all who are weak, sick or injured as useless and only allows in survivors if he deems them useful. The remaining tribes, SkyWings and MudWings, dispersed. Mass histeria and panic lead to riots against their queens who acted irrationally and the kingdoms are no more. Now, all thats left of the 7 tribes are scattered survivor groups, along with 3 clans, the biggest of these groups.

The actual experience I had watching the show

Me when I give the league of legends show a chance because my friend says it's good and I go in expecting an overrated wet fart and I'm slowly forced to acknowledge that it has layered and interesting characters, incredible art direction and animation, deeply engaging political intrigue and gripping drama and I realize that despite any flaws it may have it's ultimately one of the most mature and well rounded pieces of animated television I've ever seen come out of the western world and I end the most recent episode sitting leaned forward staring at the TV actively crying at 5 am

he's gay. he's terminally ill. he's suicidal. he's from league of legends. he's in a toxic relationship with an orb. he also might be the orb(???). he bullshitted his way into the academy by pretending he went there. he rizzed up a guy so he wouldn't kill himself. he then tried to impress said guy by breaking into his boss's lab. then when he got caught he tried to play it off by saying he thought this big intimidating door was his bedroom door and he was just trying to sneak a guy in there. he nearly died because hetero sex was happening like a mile away. kinda. he took illegal drugs. he's also the apprentice of the guy who's making the illegal drugs and never mentions it. he's inspired off of the tale of frankenstein's monster. he got shot by a missle and fucking died. when he came back to life he immediately broke up his messy gay situationship and became jesus fucking christ.

he started a cult. his ex came back from purgatory and shot him straight through the fucking chest. he got revived by his illegal drug making mentor using mutant furry blood. he turned everyone into fucked up magic robots. he got neutered by magic orb. he fought with his ex and choked him freaky style. a time travelling guy threw an orb at him and then he found out he and his ex were inextricably bound in every universe and timeline. then they went to super heaven.
