Small Dagger
Dated: 19th century
Culture: Russian
Measurements: overall lenght 30cm
The dagger features a straight, double-edged blade with a central groove and golden decorations. The steel hilt is decorated en suite, the white horn grip having oblique, golden staves. The steel scabbard is also decorated en suite.

Sketches that came with the Magi DVD vol.7 that depict the main three going on a journey. Here’s Ohtaka’s comment:
“These are sketches that I did before the serialization. I drew them while looking at pictures of the Mogao Caves in China. At first, Magi was going to be a manga that revolves more around conquering dungeons, and so I did a lot of sketches like these.”
They’re all here! I took it upon myself to create an illustration of a Mythological creature or character for every letter of the alphabet, trying to span across a multitude of cultures and creature-types. Another thing I wanted to accomplish with this project was to find some the more unusual and/or obscure creatures that don’t get as much representation in artwork. Individual Tumblr Posts with said creatures’ descriptions are below.
Again, I’ll be making this into a small run of books as a way to test the waters. If there’s more demand for a larger run, I’ll definitely be looking into it!
