I'm back with another tf2 watercolor after 4 (?) months
The combo of back to school, double digit extracurriculars, and a job somehow unexpectedly took up almost all of my time. But this was a request from a friend back in July so it took a minute. The perspective of the photo was also touching me so I tried to go in-game to check it out but I played defense every single time and could NOT get a look.
ALSO if some people have really keen eyes, they'll notice a strong presence of glitter on the right side. May or may not have to do with excessive use of silver for a quicksilver costume. The glitter haunts me.
Hopeful I return with a sonic watercolor next if I get around to the coloring part
When I went on vacation I was inspired to try watercolor by the beautiful landscape of the Appalachian Mountains, so I went home and painted a video game.
Real talk, I will never rawdog a new medium again. I went background to foreground so it's cool to see some improvement that way. The perspective is kind of wonky so please ignore that a little chat.
Live footage of me realizing just how different penciling and painting is:
2fort is also where I practice jarate. I'm pretty good at it now.
Watercolor is harder than initially thought I do not think I will try a new medium completely blind next time. However I do enjoy that I'm forced to be careful and think about my next move. It makes me happy and watercolor is probably my favorite painting medium. I'm going to try a fish after this landscape.
