URGENT!! Help me survive before and after a kidney transplant
Hi. I’m Jay, and I’m a black, disabled non-binary lesbian and my best friend, who is my caregiver, is a white Latina woman.
On May 28, I go in for a kidney transplant due to chronic kidney disease and being on dialysis wouldn’t sustain me anymore. I currently have bed sores due to being completely bedbound from an infection. My whole care team is saying I need a hospital bed with a medical grade mattress that relieves pressure sores. The thing is we don’t exactly have $4.5k laying around and we need it fairly quickly as my bed sores are worsening by the day and they are worried about infection of the sores and then sepsis (a blood infection that you can die from).
So this mattress will quite literally save my life
My best friend is selling merchandise of her cat and this is the quickest way for us to make the money as Paypal limited both our accounts for asking for donations. hey, guys. unfortunately, i have to remake this post one more time because the situation has become more dire than it was before.
i've lost my job a couple of months ago and have been struggling to find anything else to replace it, and now, whatever money i had saved is quickly going down the drain - it's reached a point where i don't have enough to afford bus tickets to take me to the job interviews i have managed to schedule.
i don't really have anyone else that can help me with this situation, and it's really taking a toll on me. all i want is to be able to find a job and stand on my own feet, but now i can barely attempt to do that.

After we were besieged in Rafah for more than four days, the tent was demolished over my heads, my children, and my husband, and we were able to miraculously escape. For those whose story of escape was not complete, because they were able to capture my husband and he is now their prisoner after he was injured in his feet from the bombing. My family is now without a father, without a breadwinner for us, in light of this war and this catastrophic famine. Hello everyone. Today I would like to share the story of Diya's son Magdy and his beloved pets. Like many of us, including myself, Magdy loved his pets. He had a cat and a cockatiel that he had to leave behind when they were displaced from their home to the south. They had hoped to be able to return but were unable to because of the occupation's continued aggression in central Gaza. Can you imagine what that must feel like? To have to leave your beloved pets behind as you fight for your own survival, not knowing their fate. Unfortunately, this is the reality for many children like Magdy in Gaza. If you are as angry as I am about the suffering of children and animals in Gaza, this is your chance to do something good for them.
Here is a photo of Diya's son Magdy and the cat that his mother bought for him. You can see how this brought a smile to his face during these difficult times. ❤️
In the last 24 hours, Diya's campaign has only received $20 in donations. The prices of basic necessities such as food and winter supplies continue to skyrocket because of the scarcity of resources in Gaza. They cannot survive on $20 a day. Hello and welcome, I am excited to announce the first ever skk mixtape fic exchange, currently planned for 2025!
I am just getting started on fully planning this event out, however I wanted to start setting up a place to share information, run polls, and answer questions related to the exchange. As I move further along in the planning process, things will shape up into a more formal exchange blog, but for now I simply wanted a central location for everything to be held.

What is a mixtape exchange? A mixtape exchange is a fandom gift exchange where, instead of giving prompts, you instead choose a song to be used as the prompt. The person creating your gift will then pull their inspiration from the song you shared, using lyrics, rhythm, and/or tone of the song.
What is the theme of this exchange? This particular exchange will focus on Soukoku, or the relationship between Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya from Bungou Stray Dogs.
What kind of works will be expected for this exchange? For the first exchange, we will be open for fanfiction only. This is subject to change in the future.

after much consideration, i am planning to host a soukoku mixtape exchange!
there are not any dates or solid plans for it yet, but i wanted to go ahead and do an interest check so that i could have an idea of how many people might be interested in participating in such an event, to help me figure out what kind of help/setup i may need for it!
