Here's a somewhat old charcoal drawing I made for school. It took me a very long time. The ribbon were gyesoed then paint and after that I wrote words on them with brush markers.

in case you were wondering what the the first semester as an illustration major looks like...
Issue #4 of zine Bumajno from illustrators collective Tipatzeha.
We worked together on the same story. In the process, each of us have seen the work of only one author and should draw a response to it. After this he showed it next illustrator. This way we got a weird story about a barber and his girlfriend in a dinosaur costume.
