Coining Event: Archaebacteriafloatspaceic!

A gender related to archaebacteria and floating in space, feeling like an archaebacteria floating in space. Can also be associated with the feeling of being lost in space.

Challenge:

Use a very low resolution canvas, or scale it down afterwards. Suggested size: 166 x 100px

==> I usually use a 3840 x 2304px canvas so using a 250 x 150px felt so weird T-T I still really like the results though! The gif flags are 240p since that's the lowest I could do :)

Coining Event: Sillyspiderdoodlegender!

A gender related to silly doodles, being silly and (drawing) doodles of spiders. This gender may feel fun and joyful.

(27/03) -> animalia / silliness & fun

Challenge:

Create the whole flag by hand or mouse: no line, shape, symmetry, or any other similar tools. Stabilizers are up to your judgement.

==> I used no tools to make the flag. It ended up looking even more silly (imo), which is absolutely perfect for this gender :P

Coining Event: Glitchedprotistaic!

A gender that feels like a glitched protista stuck inside a computer program.

Challenge:

Make the flag in a software or using a technique you've never/rarely used before. Bonus points if it is significantly different from your regular one. Suggested tools: Photoshop, MS paint, Ibispaint, flag-creator.com, Magma, or many programs similar to these (e.g. jspaint.app). Suggested methods: fill tool on a flag template, rectangle tools, in-built dividers

==> I exclusively used the rectangle and bucket tool to make this flag, no new software used.

A term for those who experience their gender located inside their stomach.

Bonus #2: Anxistomachlocine!

A term for those who experience their gender located inside their stomach (only) when having spikes of anxiety or just because of anxiety in general.

A gender that feels genderless in the way an eubacteria doesn't have a gender.

Challenge:

Use no straight stripes (any orientation) in the flag. 'Straight' meaning consisting of two straight, parallel edges.

==> I immediately thought about making the flag stripes out of the bacteria emoji! Made the other flag without the ruler so there's no straight lines!

A gender related to silly doodles, being silly and (drawing) doodles of fungi. This gender may feel fun and joyful.

(24/03) -> fungi / fluidity

Challenge:

Make the flag (or whole term) with a time limit. The limit is up to you and depends on how long your method of flag making takes, but the idea is to make you rush. Suggested time: 3 minutes

==> I preferred not to do this challenge because I'm completely unable to work within a time limit. I tried to make it as fast as I could instead! I made it in under 10 minutes :3
