amber tells joey all the work gossip from the front of the house. joey tells amber all the work gossip from the back of the house
most of the modern music joey knows is from amber playing it in the car. he will not admit that he likes it but amber notices what songs he nods along to and makes a special playlist of them
the later it gets the cuddlier that man is. by midnight they’re asleep with her fingers running through his hair and his arms around her

amber lets him infodump about anything he’s genuinely interested in for as long as he wants. if she points out this is infodumping he won’t do it so she just sits and listens
similarly joey will also be quiet and let her speak and then by the end of the week he’s giving her something related to it
joey usually wakes up before amber and will either be all soft with her (lil kisses, stroking her face) or wiggle his way out of bed to make her breakfast
when amber cries he’ll always get really pissed at whatever made her cry. yes this means the oven and also the washing machine
