I just watched a video about arsenic green in the 19th century and it’s as bad as you can imagine and even worse. They didn’t use it only for clothes, wallpapers, books binding and children’s toys, but also as a FOOD DYE! There were arsenic-coloured candies on sale at your local shop. Arsenic. In. The. Food.
