Draco used to say, that there were the kind of people who would fight for you until all hope was gone. And then there were the kind of people who would fight for you even beyond that. I know he thought Ginny was one of that kind.

Ginny is the fire itself. Her big three unites all fire signs and it shows. Draco, on the other hand, has no fire at his chart at all. His big three combines every other element, which makes him versatile, yet stable. Their moons complements each other so well – Leo and Aquarius are always gravitate towards one another. They are definitely not perfect together, but they match, and they match fiercely. His air to her fire, her venus to his mars... ahhh.

Draco had a bad feeling that if Ginny ever used the word please, he would give her anything she asked. Anything she wanted. Just like Theo did — with Pansy.

But Ginny would never do that. She would never beg.

Because she could only take. 

Take every part of him without a need to give anything in return.

That’s how fucking close she got. 

And he couldn't resist her. Not now, not ever. Because the only time he could call her mine was when she came back for more.

And it was the only thing he wanted.

Malfoy stood up on his forearms again, this time to move to her face. A thin silver chain slid down his neck as he loomed over her. Ginny grabbed onto it with her teeth, pulling Draco a little closer.

He wrapped his arms around her neck, pressing his lips tightly against hers.

"I hate the thought of us having to go," he breathed heavily.

"Me too," Ginny said softly, letting him puff on her cigarette.

Draco kissed her on the temple and carefully got up from the couch. He stretched lazily, spreading his arms to the sides. At that moment, Ginny really felt like she had won the lottery.

His beauty was deadly. Even now, the elastic muscles were clearly visible under the pale skin. Crimson lines were spreading along it, from the very collarbones to the hips — traces of the curse wounds still unhealed. He seemed to be a little embarrassed by them, in the same way that one is embarrassed by physical defects. But even despite the bitterness and pain woven into her heart at the sight of the scars, Ginny couldn't help but admire the strength they represented.

She thought that such bodies—antique and strong—were usually captured by sculptors. Or artists. Or poets.

What a shame, really, that she wasn't one of them.

i think i finally came up with the idea on how to make a happy ending for my ‘back to black’ sequel (which i haven’t even start writing yet), without making an AU epilogue to the original (not that happy) one, and i couldn’t be more excited about it

for some reason i can’t just let draco and ginny to live happily ever after without a subplot where they are destined to be star-crossed lovers foreverrr

Eventually the instinct to breathe kicked in and she inhaled, gulping in a mouthful of ice-cold sea water. There was pain at first, awful pain, and then a lightness like euphoria.

She began to drift, her mouth and eyes opened wide as she sank deeper into the sea. And as the black fingers of unconsciousness curled their way into her brain, her last vision was of Draco diving in after her; his hand reaching out for hers.

She could feel it spreading like a wildfire across her body, climbing higher and higher. It went from hot to cold, washing over her like a wave, clinging to her skin until she could no longer move, no longer speak. Then there came a jolt, a sickening tug at her navel, and she was pulled into oblivion.

Do you guys remember when Boyd Holbrook was the perfect Dream Cast for Draco Malfoy and Cynthia Decker was the perfect Dreamcast for Ginny Weasley, because I do!!?

The edits and graphics were mind blowing gorgeous and they fed the flames for all Fire and Ice shippers until we had an uncontrollable inferno and we all rejoiced in it's flames.

Ah, I miss those days....

I miss that ship.

i wish i could translate my fanfics from russian to english so i could discuss it with you guys. I’m actually thinking about it a lot nowadays, so I’ve decided to tell you their summary – maybe you’ll actually be interested in it. 

 1) Back to Black | ~100k words | Drama, Angst, Romance

Ginny Weasley/Draco Malfoy, Ginny Weasley/Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson/Harry Potter

The events taking place during Half-Blood Prince, and obey to the narrative’s timing completely (I am obsessed with details and tried to keep it as closely to Missing Scenes genre as it could be). Ginny feels extremely lonely and isolated from everyone else after what happened in the Ministry. The only person, who is there to comfort her is, surprisingly, Blaise Zabini. After some time of personal dilemma, she started to date him. But since Draco is his best friend, the two are getting closer – so they can be lonely together. 

The story also tells a lot about Silver Trio – Draco, Pansy and Blaise. Their friendship is one of the main lines of the narrative, and Pansy is one of my favourite characters. It is my main work, and I've started this ff almost ten years ago.

2) Fragile | ~20k words | Drama, Angst Ginny Weasley/Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter

After the war is over, Harry is visiting Draco Malfoy in his top-secret cell in Azkaban, the day before his Dementor’s Kiss. His main goal to interrogate him for the last time – to try to find out something about missing parts from Ginny’s diary, that he’s maybe finally be willing to tell. As the story unfolds – there are a lot of flashbacks from the time, when Draco and Ginny worked together side by side, in the Army of the Death Eaters. Why was she there? And where is she now?  

That one is way more dark than the first one. A few of my readers told me that “Manacled” reminded them of this work. I haven’t read that one yet – so I can’t tell.
