Super Duper Hug FAQ
Hi everyone.
I’ve read the last days about the notites from a few Simmers, who has get the Super Duber Hug Bug from downloading lots from other Simblrs like @simper-fi, @keoni-chan and @deedee-sims. (Where, however, still unclear is whether they really have the bug.) I’ve the Super Duper Hug Bug, too. And I know some lots from me are “infected”. And I’m really really sorry that I doesn’t inform you, but I through that was not are problem because it doesn’t destroy the game or something.
I thought to overview I make a small FAQ
What is the Super Duper Hug Bug?
“The Debug Super Duper Hug is a special autonomous testing interaction that allows any sim to hug any other sim without the fear of being rejected. This hug is very effective and make sims into friends very fast. Some people [modders] use it as a template for creating new interactions, where the original is kept on as a fallback. When such a mod is later removed, the Super Duper Hug is then introduced by the game to compensate for the missing interaction. My No Sim Loaded mod protects against this annoying phenomenon.” - BoilingOil
Can it break my game?
As far as is known, no. But some Simmer doesn’t like the bug, because it annoys them.
How can I fix it?
It gives two fixes who only suppresses the bug, when you get it already.
Boiling Oil’s No Sim Loaded and dolphin26’s Control This Sim.
Can I fix it at all?
No - “Dolphin’s hack doesn’t fix the Hug – it just suppresses the problem. You still have it in your game and can infect other games. There is no cure for the Hug, but there is a vaccine: if you install No Sim Loaded before you do anything that might cause the Hug, then you will never get it. If you’re already infected, No Sim Loaded just suppresses the Hug as well.
If you’ll forgive the metaphor, the Super Duper Hug is like herpes – if you take appropriate precautions before you woohoo, you won’t get herpes. If you don’t take appropriate precautions and you end up with herpes, you will have it for the rest of your life. You can take medication to suppress it so that you don’t have an outbreak or any symptoms, but you will never be truly cured, and you might pass it along to someone else.” - @esmeiolanthe
Can I still upload my Lots if I have the bug? And I may even still download Lots of others?
In my own opinion, you can do what you want. The Super Duper Hug should forbid you nothing or you take the fun of playing Sims. It would just be helpful to others, when you write to that you have the SDHB in your game so that they can know and decide for yourself. Many also have no problems with the bug.
I find the opinion of @dramallamadingdang also justifiable:
“[…] BUT! I don’t think this should discourage anyone from downloading or sharing lots. Simply get BoilingOil’s mod and all is well. You never have to worry about the issue again. It’s a mod that everyone ought to have, really. Same as the anti-corruption ones, if you’re a person who plays neighborhoods long-term.…That said, anyone who knows for certain that they have the Super Hug and who shares lots ought to let people know about this. In fact, probably everyone who shares lots, period, should let others know about this, since lot sharing is how the bug propagates between users. So, consider this MY notice, as a person who shares lots. :)”
Important to know is, when you have the SDHB in your game not all of your Lots are infected! So some of my Lots have it, like the Pleasant House Makeover or the Storm Dorm, but some of my houses hasn’t it… And I don’t know why.. May be someone of you has an answer. :)

This is partially an OC x Canon ask blog for the OC, Shimi Shinozuku, and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. They are indeed dating and the canon ship of this blog.
Time on the blog will never be set in one place, although designs will heavily feature 2nd and 3rd year scarring and designs as its central mooring point in the timeline. Due to lack of canonical knowledge, all teachers will remain with their classes (Vlad King and Aizawa will still be the homerooms to their respective classess).
On this blog, we will now also be accepting questions and posts in a more casual manner, talking about the series and discussion of other OCs and such trends as well. I’m slowly transitioning it from being purely an RP reliant experience to something more loose!

Personality: Stubborn and stalwart to a fault. Due to past trauma, Shimi has become more closed off while wrangling with depression and anxiety.
Appearance: Dark navy hair and golden eyes. Her hair is really short, a little over shoulder length, and it’s really wavy and puffy. Her eyes are almond shaped and have a visible eyelid crease when open. Her body is a bit lanky, but not too skinny. Her body is toned. She is relatively flat-chested and prefers to wear the male uniform. She has faint scars across her arms, as well as various hairline scars and scratches from branches and twigs. She has one faint, long scar on her lower right arm.

Anxiety (Primary Quirk)
Transformation Type
By flooding the users system with adrenaline, the user is able to boost their physical capabilities by a percentage of what they are already capable of.
There is a max limit to how much a person can boost their capabilities. Think of it as a video game status boost.
It can only be used if there is another human within visible range. The user will begin to spark as a visual signifier of usage (quirk exhaust).
Drawbacks:
- Extended usage leads to minor effects of adrenaline overdose. Please take care to allow the body to rest so as to ensure optimal quirk usage.
Limitations:
Phase 1:
When boosting past the max limit, the user is put under a time limit of 45 seconds before they pass out. Quirk exhaust will appear denser as a visual signifier of exceeding the max limit.
The quirk will shut itself off for the next 12 hours to regulate and clean the user’s body of excessive adrenaline used to power it.
If the user attempts to activate the quirk at this time, they will be temporarily paralyzed in a random limb for a few hours. They will also experience the minor side effects of adrenaline overdose as the body cleans itself out.
Phase 2:
When boosting 100& over the max limit, the user experiences the 45 second time limit as in phase 1. Once the user passes out, they will become comatose.
Known comas last for a few days, but are unknown if they last longer. All previous drawbacks apply.
Innate Bodily Mutations:
- Stronger muscles for more output of force per input (the muscular structure is like that of a crabs).
- The user’s body is modified to handle adrenaline in amounts that the typical human cannot, allowing for much higher amounts of it to be created within the body for fuel of the quirk. The average adrenaline levels are also much higher.
- Higher pain tolerance due to adrenaline in the body.

Tiger Form (Secondary Quirk)
Transformation(-Mutant) Type
The user has the capability to transform into a tiger or gain tiger-like qualities.
Drawbacks:
Due to the nature of being a secondary quirk, the quirk factor is naturally more unstable and makes the quirk innately unreliable in its usage or control. Years upon years of training is required to use the secondary quirk as reliably as the primary.
Innate bodily mutations (as like with Mutation Quirks) remain since birth, but focused changes may happen without the user’s knowledge or consent until properly trained.
Emotional Activation:
This quirk, due to its unstable nature, may be activated through extreme emotions on occasion:
- Claws and stripes from anger, and other negatively aligned emotions
- Ears and tail when surprised or content
The exact emotions to pin-point the cause for the emotional activation but it is believed that due to it’s instability it uses emotional cues as it’s next best cue for usage.
Blind Rage:
A “mode” of Tiger Form. Only achieved when the user is in great distress, they gain claws, fangs, and stripes across their face.
The innate instinct of this quirk takes hold and makes the user’s ability to think rationally null. For as long as they remain in this “mode” they will have lost what humanity they have.
They will only think about causing destruction to the ones causing distress and all others that are perceived as dangerous figures. Destruction for survival will become their main goal.
Innate Bodily Mutations:
- Sharper canines
- Enhanced sense of smell
- Slightly enhanced sense of hearing
- Slightly enhances sight; better night vision, slit pupils
- Tiger instincts; chuffing, kneading, grooming habits
- Tiger-like Reproductive Cycle; lack of periods

I live to just draw out Shimis Hero Costume! Here is a rundown of the gear she has!
Gauntlets with Interchangeable Parts!
The right hand is always a shield, but the left is able to switch between a slingshot and a grappling hook, stored within the pouches on her waist!
Cut Resistant Fabric!
It’s always helpful when your quirk doesnt protect you against bladed nasties, and it covers a decent amount of her skin to she cant get cut up too easily!
Leg Guards!
Before these were just simple hiking boots, but it was determined she needed something a little better! Leg Guards that go up to her knees are perfect for taking care of extra debris in rescue operations and provide that little extra defensive measures for villain apprehension!
Safety Cloth (safety contrast as my friend loves to call it)
A bright cloth to help her stand out amongst rubble at a rescue site! She can also use it for makeshift first aid or to tag people she can’t rescue at the time!
Fingerless Gloves
The fingerless gloves let Shimi get a true feel for the area around her and what she is working with as well as allowing extremely fine motor control!
- its also for her secondary quirk, tiger form, in the case she transforms herself some claws, dont want to rip up her nails or the good gloves
Mask
It's basic and functionally doesn’t work the best, but for small bits of debris, it helps to keep those out.
Omg my quirksona has a similar quirk!! Has a shadow friend that shapeshifts depending on emotions. The more positive/calm the smaller and more friendly-based shadow and the more negative the bigger and scarier!! I wonder if they would be pals :0

This is Dame Nonoshiru, and her biological child Shimi Shinozuku!
Shimi does not live with Dame, because Dame had left her up for adoption immediately after birth (and also for story reasons that would lead Shimi to villany if she had been kept around).
Dame is a civilian/pseudo-villain. She has a low-end job, a kind of small crappy apartment and spends all her money on cigarettes and alcohol for the most part.
Her life isn’t the part that makes her dangerous though! Because of how her quirk functions, being that in order for it be strong, she has to hate herself. As such she has a very basic, self-survival mindset. Nothing more than a few pleasure for the self but only to add more fuel to the fire of self-hatred. See, Dame is fully aware that what she does is “bad” and thus fuels the everlasting, “I’m a horrible person fire” she has kept lit for so long.
Her mindset is very “everything that I do has to have a benefit for me”, which is a good part of why she had left Shimi out for adoption. The child of an accidental pregnancy, Shimi was just more weight for Dame and too much of a money drain and so the child was left to be picked up by someone else.
While the idea of having a child has no weight on Dame, she does see it as a weight to throw around if it were needed to be used.
But the rest of her role in Shimi’s story will remain a secret for now!
TIME FOR LORE!!!!!! (some)
This is Shimi’s biological mother, Dame Nonoshiru. Her quirk revolves around the idea of self-hatred, and the more she hates herself, the more powerful her “shadows” become. Thus it is aptly named Depression.

Just added an undersarmor shirt and some gloves and bracers(i think thats what it is???) and extended the top bar on the mask!

NEREIDS ARE A TYPE OF WATER NYMPH BUT ARE OCEAN NYMPHS. THERE ARE ONLY 100 OF THEM AND THEY ARE THE DAUGHTERS OF NEREUS AND DORIS, DORIS BEING THE DAUGHTER OF OCEANUS.

Star was SO SO excited to see Posie for the first time, like she was crying tears of joy (she was 11 that day)
She always has at least some of her hair covering her eye (like it is in the picture) but no one knows why....
Before meeting JD and Viva (or any of the Putt Putt Trolls) she was an orphaned and abandoned kid, always on the go, but even though she went gray, Star always saw the good in thing and people :)
