How everything started...

Context: After Zim discovers the truth of his mission and that he is defective he gets depressed. Dib (15 years old) notices Zim's changes in behavior, so he gives him some gifts to gain his trust and "investigate" (He just was worried) then they slowly start to get closer.

Meeting your younger self gone wrong

I'm pretty sure the kiddo Zim and Dib wouldn't be a fan of my older version of them, which made me a little sad in the past BUT! Finally, I decided to go full-on messiness and hatred with each other! Make them both despise each other! Make them think how much the other version is stupid! Let them be this hot mess that isn't able to have a civil conversation even with themselves! xDD

I like the idea of Zim and Tak coming to Earth earlier and being forced to work together despite hating it.

I see it could be like a training process and punishment for both of them. Brains sees great potential in Zim and Tak, but their continuous fights cause a lot of destruction. That's why they get sent to an unimportant planet to invade before DOOM 1 starts to check if they can manage the given task or die. Either way, it's a win-win for Armada.
