Currently stuck inside cuz my ass got covid in the year 2024 so I’ve got lots of time to obsess over my interests and listen to lots of mcr and rewatch my fav Monster High movies so consider this possibly the beginning af a series….

Humans and monsters hate each other so they would never admit when they had something in common. They didn't have much in common, it was really only one thing. Something every species in the universe had in common. It was noticing when something looked like them but something was off. Every living thing could tell if something was off with someone claiming to be part of them.

So when Jekyll and Hyde came around, they made everyone uneasy. Jekyll looked human but something was off about him. Hyde looked monstrous but something was off about him. Something was off about both of them.

Jekyll looked like a typical nerd but his teeth were too sharp, his eyes looked like that of a doll, his lanky figure giving off a puppet-like look when he moved a certain way, and his face. His face looked off, he looked human but he didn't. No one understood why they felt uneasy around him. Jekyll was human but he wasn't? Something was wrong with him and no one could tell what was wrong with him.

Hyde looked like a typical party animal clashed with a DJ. Except, his ears were slightly dull, his flames looked like bad cgi, his blue skin looked painted on, and his movements seemed unnatural. He made everyone around uneasy, no one knew why. He was a monster, it was obvious but something was just wrong. You can only see his oddities when you get too close but even then, it wasn't enough to make a monster uneasy.

Something was wrong with the both of them and no one knew what it was. Jekyll and Hyde didn't fit in at any of the schools they were sent to because of this fact. That's when they found Monster High. Surely they'll fit in there. Monster High had all sorts of monsters so no one would feel uneasy around them. Right?

I swear every time I remember more and more of this movie, the more horrified I become

Jackson Jekyll is someone who would bite you without warning, Holt Hyde would apologize to you if you shoved him to the ground

Hi I’m here to say that Jackson and Holt must have PTSD cause there’s no way in FUCK do you nearly get PUBLICLY EXECUTED ON A HALLOWEEN NIGHT BY HAVING YOUR HEAD GET CHOPPED OFF BY A PUMPKIN AND WALK OUT OF THAT COMPLETLY FINE!!! LIKE WHAT??? GIVE THEM A FUCKING BLANKET AND SOME HOT CHOCOLATE IM-

DO NOT woobify Jackson Jekyll. Normalize making him just as feral as Holt. People assume Jackson is the one with the common sense but dude is like, a total mad scientist. This mf is blowing up the school laboratory every other week and has been perfecting his mad scientist cackle. He did all his piercings himself because he didn’t want to wait until he was 18. He’s probably electrocuted himself several times and it won’t be the last. Holt may act wild on the outside but on the inside he’s a pretty chill dude. Jackson however just keeps a lot of his crazy on the inside… most of the time

Okay but Jackson coming into school one day and acting like a complete normie.

His hair is completely black and his eyes are blue. He doesn’t use the same lingo as anyone else.

“Oh look they’re playing casketball.”

“Nice, it’s good weather for basketball.”

“…What are you talking about?”

Jackson doesn’t even blow anything up. He doesn’t do any mad science and acts like he has no knowledge of the monster world.

And it freaks everyone out.

When they confront him Jackson’s like I thought this is what you wanted? I thought I was just a dumb little normie? Or did you realise I’m just as much a monster as the rest of you?
