The sound design on Dropout is great and I love how they reuse sounds like how the Dirty Laundry anticipation buildup jingle sometimes appears on Dimension 20, but also the most recent episode of Game Changer used the public domain instrumental Maniamaster by Lupus Nocte, which incidentally is the same instrumental that Charlie Slimecicle chose for Jort Storm. So now I can’t watch Game Changer s6e7 “Beat the Buzzer” without singing Jort Storm to myself.

L's missing piece

L sighed a sigh he had never sighed before, the news lined "US PRESIDENT CHARLIE SLIMECICLE IN CRITICAL CONDITION FROM JORT STORM"

"This has to be kiras doing"

L said, he was tired of this case, it was going on too long, he knew kira was light he just had to prove it. He sat in his thinking pose, laying sideways like a fucking madman, he suddenly remembered what he overheard light say earlier ranting to himself in the bathroom after the death of Nagito Komaeda and the Onceler, both killed via heart attack.

"Stupid L, he has no proof of what I've done! I have carefully hidden my tracks. Next I must kill the US president using the ultimate fashion statement JORTS"

Why jorts? L wondered, kira usually used heart attacks to kill his victim, why be so bold? What did President Charlie Slimecicle do? What justice does this serve?

...L sat there and let his mind wander with all the possible reasons light could want the president dead. . . Was kira trying to throw him off?

...

"MY MOTHERS BEEN WHAT?" L heard Lisa Simpson yell from the other room

A French man responded "I fucked your mother, I shall do it again, au revoir"

...L was tired of this loud and busy nonsense. He was going to confront light on his killing of the president, Charlie slimecicle, and prove light is kira once and for all.

(Author note: There's probably not going to be any more of this, unless I get bored and make a part two, now time to go back to working on Act EYWBA and other more serious projects.)
