Well, since May and June have apparently been alone for quite a long time, life on a boat will be a good time to start their quiet life and time for themselves so that they understand what it's like to be children with loving parents.

And for a couple of months a year, they can live in a mansion for socialization and adaptation in large companies.

DuckTales 2017 Finale Spoilers:

June: Now that Heron’s gone

May: Where do we belong?

Lena: We belong right here

Donald: {on the phone} Hey Daisy! You know that adventure we’re going to take?! How about a couple of stowaways?

Webby: EXCUSE ME!?? I just got two new sisters and now you’re just taking them away from me!?

Lena: All of us were going to Funso’s this Saturday but I guess that plan is out the window

Violet: We literally JUST made them friendship bracelets!

Donald: {moves phone away from his head} Uh…

Daisy: {on the phone} DONALD! We’ve been planning this trip for just the two of us for months! I like your friends but I don’t think I want José and Panchito to be with us for that long

Donald: {goes back on the phone} What!? No, no, no, no! You don’t understand! What I meant was I’ve adopted two kids-

Daisy: YOU ADOPTED TWO CHILDREN WITHOUT TALKING TO ME FIRST!?! Donald! We’ve been dating for almost a year now and we’ve never had that conversation about having kids!

Donald: It’s okay Daisy! I have experience! Trust me, raising kids on a boat away from the rest of the world is the way to go!

Huey: Wait! Uncle Donald! You and Aunt Daisy are leaving!?

Della: You didn’t tell the kids you were leaving!?

Donald: I, uh, was going t-

Dewey: He never tells us anything!! We didn’t even know that much about you until we moved into Uncle Scrooge’s place

Della: WHAT!?!

Dewey: Yeah! Any time we’d ask about he’d just avoid the question!

Donald: I was going through stuff!

Louie: {to May and June} You don’t wanna live on his houseboat, trust me! He turns into an absolute monster whenever he’s docking the boat

Donald: Louie!

Louie: And you two already saw the mansion! It’s a way better place to live!

Webby: The air vents alone make the mansion worth exploring!

June: Ooh! Does your houseboat have any air vents!?

Donald: Uh… {opens the plane doors to start the finale credits}

Donald: Na-ah-AH!!

Donald: You will NOT talk like this to my Arakuni child, three nieces who are not my own nieces, but the nieces of my ex-girlfriend, my Spanish boyfriend, my Brazilian boyfriend, my pet bear, my baby goddess, my distant grandfather, the distant grandfather of my Spanish boyfriend and the distant grandfather of my Brazilian boyfriend. Do you understand me?!

Besides Huey, do any of the cast have their own episode as the main character?

as a matter of fact yes. Big City Boyd is obviously Boyd focused although Huey is present, The Roadtrip Rite of Passage is gosalyn focused, What About Adventure? stars a young Della and Donald, Stowaway on Moonlight Harbour is June and penumbra focused. The missing fabric of Minnie Mouse is may and daisy centric, Roots of the Rich is more Scrooge focused and There’s also a couple of Lena episodes too

Some subject to change character designs for dungeons and ducklings, featuring 2 of the duos. deweys a bard, violets a cleric, Junes a circle of the moon Druid and Boyd’s a way of mercy monk upon the suggestion of @dt-canim

One May and June episode could be about their fears and insecurity joining the family (maybe involving FOWL remains), and how the clan tries to made them feel welcome and loved.

Since getting this ask I’ve thought of an episode where the two deal with this separately so here’s another episode description as a treat. Albeit slightly modified to avoid some spoilers 

May and June learn what it truly means to have a family. 

I've been doing a full re watch of Ducktales 2017 for both research and for fun and I’ve just finished the life and crimes of Scrooge Mcduck( the episode in Huey’s season before the finale being a Louie episode is a little annoying ngl) so I haven’t gotten to May and Junes introduction yet but the characterisation I have for them for is under the cut

June: I’ve kind of split parts of webby’s personality and altered them to give them each their own personality which is still a little bit of a wip for now. For June I gave her webbys initial season one enthusiasm if you know what I mean. She’s excited and bouncy and wants to try everything there is to try. I imagine she’d be interested in things like art and ballet as well as loving the ocean even if she’s not that good at sailing. She also has a lot of respect for her sister May, based on that one scene where she cuts the strings on webbys board because may said it was wrong, which leads me to thing she also does things without thinking she doesn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings she still learning. She seems like she’d be a good gift giver, the type of person who knows what people like because she wants everyone to be happy, which does sometimes lead to naivety( but don’t get it twisted she’s plenty smart)overcompensation on her part but she’s working on it.

May: mays a lot more cynical then her sister and is protective of her. She doesn’t trust easily on account of her entire world shattering. She’s got more of webby’s warrior attitude and has a similar way of looking at problems to Louie( he probably ropes her into his schemes). Even though she comes off as grumpy and cynical she loves her family and would do anything for them, she has a lot of respect for Donald and daisy as well as Mrs. Beakley and Huey( he is collecting little siblings like pokemon you guys). I also imagine she’d be interested in fashion like her mom daisy and debate. I think she gets lots of book recommendations from Huey so she’s always reading. She butts heads with Dewey a lot, partly because the entire cast kind of just gets along, they don’t often have different conclusions or shown opinions from each other( like they’re all obviously different to each other but you don’t really see them draw different conclusions from each other too often) and also because she kind of opposes his sunshine everything’s okay personality. 

y’all really had to vote for arguably the most difficult poster to make didn’t you lol. I’ve been working on the character designs behind the scenes as well screenshot redraws that are for me. I’ll post an update on the dungeons and ducklings character designs soon hopefully

Besides Huey, is there any of them will undergo many character developments?

Character development wise I have things planned for May and June as well as Boyd and Lena, as well as a little something planned for Louie and Dewey albeit to improve Huey’s arc but still. There is definitely others but i can’t remember at the moment.

May I ask what season 4 is gonna be and the order of episodes? Since season 1 is about searching the truth about Della, season 2 being the moon arc and Louie's season, and season 3 is Fowl.

well first off I’m making season 4 Huey’s season as he didn’t get one, at least not really so I’ll be having episodes that Establish his character earlier on in order to develop it. As for the overarching plot lets just say that I want the stakes to be super high. Essentially the episodes that Establish characters will be placed earlier on so that i can develop them later such as The episodes currently titled stowaway on moonlight harbour, The missing fabric of miss Minnie Mouse, the miser and the magician and dungeons and ducklings. Meanwhile the episodes titled the Duke of making a mess, Treasure of the golden suns and The final verdict of lady justice(both not present on the poll) are later on due to being extremely plot heavy or character development focused.
