my voice is raspy and similar to emma stone's or stevie nicks' y'all don't know what a relief it is to learn many people find raspy voices attractive or at least not ugly now that i'm an adult after being teased about it as a kid people still ask if i'm sick or if i lost my voice from yelling at a concert lmao no babes it's just vocal cord damage from being intubated i've always sounded like this but also?? when people compliment my voice it genuinely sends me to cloud 9 because it always used to be an insecurity growing up just please do not ask me to speak up in a loud restaurant because honey i promise i am trying 😭 that's when my vocal cords truly fight for their life also that is why mute Hannibal interests me so much because omg the vocal fatigue is so real i just know Hannibal's voice would be rasping and creaking and straining when he started speaking for long periods of time again
