A/N: This is my first time posting on Tumblr so if it’s crap my bad. but hey, at least I did something. Also this was a random idea I had because of all the Loki fics or one-shots with Y/n and how all the Y/n’s help him and make him feel worthy. So bam! I hope you enjoy.

The sound of Ravonna’s heels hitting the floor could be heard by the minutemen guarding the door. Which was also greeted with her throwing open the door to the time theater.
With swift words Ravonna speaks, “Leave us.”
The two men made synced movements while walking out of the room, per her request. Ravonna walked slowly towards the wall as the doors closed behind her. As she approached the correct wall she took out her replacement TemPad.
She typed in a code, before the wall opened up to reveal the ‘gone rouge’ minuteman. Hunter B-15.
The hunter looked up at the judge. Her skin tinted with the redness surrounding the cell she was locked in. A scowl on her face and a glare to match, “Why am I locked in here?”
Ravonna returned her glare with a blank expression not even fazed, “You set the Variant free. You were disloyal to the TVA-”
“Disloyal?”
“Did you think you’d escape punishment?” Ravonna continued.
“Disloyal to who?” B-15 pressed on. “You were in the Time-Keepers chambers. They weren’t real.”
“And you think that changes anything?”
“That changes everything! The people need to know the truth,” B-15 exclaimed.
“No, the TVA needs stability. And until we can figure out what’s going on, that is what it will get.” Raonna took a breath and changed her tone, “So you will tell me everything you know about the Variant.”
“What exactly do you want from me?” B-15 asked, her voice done. She didn’t want to speak to Ravonna anymore.
“You have a link with the Variant. I want you to tell me what drives her.” Ravonna got to the point. She wants to take this mistake down, and she wants to do it now.
“Revenge drives her. Killing the Time-Keepers, but they turned out to be fake, in case you’ve forgotten. So she’ll be searching for whomever created them.” Ravonna downcasted her eyes. B-15 looked at her expression and scoffed. “This isn’t about protecting the TVA at all, is it?”
“That doesn’t really sound like revenge, that sounds like spite.” Ravonna spoke, changing the topic. She didn’t want the ex-Hunter to find out her real reason for wanting to know.
“Don’t you remember?” B-15 inquired. Another scoff laid behind her lips.
“Remember what? What are you babbling about?” Ravonna interrogated.
“The person we took from her. The only thing a Loki can have, their person.” B-15 explained. “And we killed them, to get to her. She’ll find them first.”
“And why is that?”
“Because you only want it. She needs it.” A smirk was the last thing Ravonna saw on ex-Hunter B-15’s face as the doors closed again.
Her angry footsteps were heard in the halls and she spoke to Miss Minute. Motivation seeping into every bone in her body.
~In the Void~
As the Lokis and Mobius sat in their makeshift shelter Classic Loki asked Mobius if he remembered all of them.
“You really don’t remember him?” He pressed, Alligator Loki gave a small growl.
“I mean, the TVA arrested a lot of Lokis, but, no I don’t remember an alligator.” Mobius divulged, “Who’s to say that he is a Loki Variant. Just a long con, which makes him more likely a Loki. Always the game within the game with you guys. I respect that.”
“Mobius,” Kid Loki called with a bit of hesitation in his voice, “when you get back to the TVA what will you do?”
“I don’t know,” Mobius sighed, “I’d like for the people to know the truth.”
“So just like that, you’ll turn your back on something that you’ve devoted your whole life to.” Classic asked.
“It’s never too late to change.” Mobius voiced, his tone soft. It reminded the Lokis of someone.
“Just like my Julie-Rose.” Classic reminisced.
“Who’s that?” Mobius wondered. He’s studied everything about a Loki, but nowhere did it talk about a person.
“Oh? Don’t you remember?” Classic asked, but the look on Mobius’ face made him continue nonetheless, “It's destiny, something written in the stars. The only thing that a Loki can have that is good, their person. The one who will always be by their side.”
Mobius looked on at Kid Loki with an expression asking him to elaborate more. Kid Loki sighed and continued where Classic left off. “The girl, boy, or other that is made for us. In simple terms our soulmate. Someone we are given, that the TVA can’t take away.”
Mobius nodded, understanding the special person. He silently wonders why the files in the TVA don’t talk about this person. The Loki’s only good.
Classic began to remember his person. How sweet she was. “My Julie-Rose found me on the planet I was on. She was the only one to keep me sane. We spent our years together, but she was normal. She died. And I was alone once more. When I was finally ready to leave, the TVA showed up.”
Mobius listened to him, the urge to learn more about a Loki still strong. Kid spaced out, trying to remember everything about his boy. His face becoming foggy, like a distant memory.
“I didn’t even tell him that I liked him.” His voice was soft, “He always told me that I was made for great things, that we were going to be side-by-side forever. But I was the idiot who killed Thor and thought I could get away with it. I never got to tell him. And I barely remember what he looks like.”
Kid’s eyes glistened with unshed tears. The millisecond of pain and weakness almost missed by Mobius. He never knew that a Loki could feel this much pain, that they had a weakness and no one could know about it.
Alligator Loki growled from his place on the floor. A few seconds later Classic spoke again, “He says that his person was going to be his queen. But he made a mistake, and then she was gone. He could never return.”
Kid shifted his gaze from the burning fire to outside their shelter. Tired of trying to remember his face. And his smile. And the way his eyes crinkled when he laughed. More tears built up, but he didn’t let it waver his voice, “I hope they know what they're doing.”
“Mobius is so bad.” Sylvie stated as she and Loki sat outside in the cold wind. Her knees pulled up to her chest to gain as much warmth as possible.
Loki beside her, taking in the cold winds, wishing for their warmth, “Or so good. I think that’s why we get along.”
“He cares about you.” A shiver ran up her spine, the warmth she carved already a distant memory. She looked over at him, and he returned her stare.
A gust of wind blew through, causing the both to shiver some more. Loki rubs his arm trying to reject the cold, while Sylvie embraces it. Like an old friend.
“It’s cold out here.”
“Mmm-hmm.”
They both sat there, in silence, before Loki conjured himself a green and gold blanket. Sylvie stared at the blanket, a small smile present on her lips.
“I could conjure one up for you, if you like.” He offered the same small smile on his face.
“I’m alright, I don’t mind the cold,” She revealed, “but a new outfit would be grand, this one is very uncomfortable.”
The wind blew through again. It embraced Sylvie again, the cold being accepted. Loki looked at her from the corner of his eye, a thought that has bugged him for a while refusing. “You’ve never told me the real reason behind taking down the TVA.”
“What?”
“Well you’ve said that you want to take down the Time-Keepers, and it sounds like revenge. But all they did was take you when you were a girl. I don’t see a lot of motive here.” Loki looked at the woman next to him. She was gazing at the distance. Her eyes held the same look his did, when he watched his life on a screen. When he saw them.
“I wasn’t always alone. I had a partner, but the TVA took them from me.” She started, “We were running together, he found me while I was traveling through apocalypses. Wouldn’t leave my side. Turns out he was a Variant too, but got away just in time.
“It was just the two of us, we ran through apocalypse after apocalypse. We stole rest charges together. Our plan was to cause the total panic to sneak in and kill the Time-Keepers. But we got trapped, surrounded by minutemen. He gave me the TemPad, told me to run. Let himself get caught.
“I hid for three days. Waiting for him to appear again. Waiting for the minutemen to show, but no one came. He died for me, and alone I was again. No one but myself to rely on.” a breeze, a bit calmer from the other ones brushed against Sylvie’s cheek, like a kiss.
Loki looked at her with sadness in his eyes. He was taken from his partner, he never really returned home. He never got to see their smiling face, he never got to hear their praises. He didn’t even get a kiss for his return.
He conjured the blanket to wrap around Sylvie, having them share. She grabbed her end and pulled it closer. Accepting the warmth.
“We were supposed to be wed on my return.” Loki began, “A nice little wedding, just us a few friends and Thor was going to officiate it. Just something the two of us could reminisce while setting up for the much bigger wedding for the whole of Asgard to see.
“They never liked being a royal, just wanted us to be happy and together. Nevertheless, they did it to make me happy. They would’ve done anything for me. And I was trying to take over the world for them. To have a throne fit for two rulers.
“But I failed. And when I tried to return to them, I became stranded. Then the TVA came. Took me away. Showed me the life I would’ve had if I just stayed there. Showed me my death, but also showed me my spouse. And our children. And our life together, if I just stayed there.” Regret started to build up in Loki’s voice.
‘Why couldn’t I have just stayed there.’
“Then we do this for them.” Her words shocked both of them, “And maybe there will be a timeline for us...”
“To finally be happy.” Loki finished.
“Yeah, to finally be happy.”
Both of their minds filled with pleasant memories. Happy memories. The times they wish to be in again.
The small group stood on the edge of a cliff staring at Alioth. Sylvie explains the plan. She then gave the TemPad to Loki, expecting him to use it.
“I’m staying.” He declared before handing it to Mobius.
“There is no way that this will work-” Sylvie tried to reason.
“If you're doing this, then I’m doing this.” Loki cut her off, “Besides, they aren’t waiting for me. No one is.”
“It’s happening guys, the branch will be right there.” Kid pointed out, his machine sounding off.
Mobius made a Timedoor. Ready to leave. “I’ll give your regards to Reinslayer.”
“Oh, please do.” Sylvie said amused.
Mobius then turned to the three other Variants, “You boys want a ticket out of here.”
“What? No, we’re staying here.” Kid said quickly.
“This is our home.” Classic agreed.
“You sure? What about Alioth?” Loki pressed.
“We survived this long. We know what we’re doing.” Classic explained.
“You’ve said it yourself. He isn’t waiting for me. No one is.” Kid spoke again, looking at Loki. “You’re going to need this for your journey.”
Kid then conjured up a blade. Laevateinn. With care Loki grabbed the blade, and made a sheath to hold it on his back.
“Good luck. I hope you find what you’re looking for.” Loki nodded in appreciation. The group of three split off, going to do their part of the task.
Mobius made his way towards the door, before exchanging words with the two Variants that changed his life.
“Looks like you got away in the end.”
“I always do.” Loki stated. Sad to see his friend leave. “What will you do to the TVA?”
“Burn it to the ground.” Mobius said without hesitation. Which received looks of approval from the two Variants. “Thanks for the spark. Well, see you later Loki.”
Loki looked at Mobius’ hand, before pulling him into a hug, “Thank you, my friend.” Looking over Loki’s shoulder he whispered to Sylvie, “You’re my favorite.”
They release one another and Mobius walks through the Timedoor, closing behind him. Leaving the two Variants alone on the cliff. They stared at the enemy, ready to face it.
As the two approached the branch readying to face it, Loki ran off to cause a distraction, the branch taking too long. Sylvie started to enchant it, but Alioth shifted it’s attention to Sylvie, going to stop her from taking over.
Loki ran over yelling at the beast. Trying to get it away from Sylvie before a green light shone.
There on the other side of Alioth was Classic Loki, producing an illusion of Asgard, so real that Alioth went towards it. The urge to consume it is great. But one thing about the illusion, is that there is a tiny cottage a few paces where Classic was standing. It looked warm and new, like someone kept it from becoming old. Like an old home.
Loki met up with Sylvie looking as their old home was being made right in front of them. Just like they remembered.
“GO!” Classic’s yell echoed towards the two. Sylvie grabbed Loki’s hand, he looked at her with surprise.
“What are you doing?” He yelled.
“We are going to enchant it.”
“I don’t know how.” He stated, insecurity started to peek through.
“Yes you do because we are the same.” She encouraged. Sylvie walked them towards Alioth.
Alioth had gone straight for the tall Asgardian palace, but it disappeared before he could eat it. He then went for another building but it disappeared too.
Classic struggled to keep the image, his strength not as strong as it was before. Soon Alioth surrounded Asgard and it began to fall, like it did before.
Sylvie interlaced their fingers. Encouraging Loki more. His hand started to glow, enchanting it too.
Classic falls to his knees. The Asgard replica disappeared faster as Alioth went towards the source. The cottage disappeared slower than the rest. Like it was burning down in a fire, taking its time to become destroyed.
Classic stood once more, trying to use his magic again. “Glorious Purpose!” He yelled, laughing at the end. The cottage now gone, tears in his eyes. One long thought before meeting his demise.
‘Together again, my Julie-Rose.’
Then he was gone, only his helmet remained, rusted and old. Alioth turned quickly, heading towards the other threats. Roaring at them.
Sylvie closed her eyes, concentrating harder. Loki followed suit. And in that moment, time seemed to stop for the both of them. They weren’t in danger anymore, they were safe.
Sylvie felt a hand rub against her naked back. The soft sheets trapped the warmth that his body provided. She sighed at the comfort. His heart beat music to her ears. Light kisses pressed to her head and temple.
“So strong, very, very strong.” He whispered, not wanting to ruin the mood of their little bubble, “So I know that you got this. I have total faith in you.”
Sylvie moved her head back and looked at his face. His hazel eyes staring back at her. The millions of freckles scattered across his face were invisible in the dim lighting. His black hair is messy, and his pink lips are still swollen. She teared up, now able to see his face much more clear.
“So beat this damn thing, and come find me again. My Sylvie.”
Her magic came out stronger.
A warm breeze moved some of his hair. The warm sun on his skin was welcoming. Loki’s normal armor discarded for more comfortable clothing. A field of flowers and grass in his view, trees swaying this the breeze that’s blowing through.
Gently an object is placed on his head, and a giggle fills his ears. Y/n moves over into his view. A flower crown on their head as well.
“You look marvelous, my love.” Their tone light. Soft. Warm. Just like the breeze.
“As do you, darling.” Loki responded with a smile resting on his lips. He held out his arms, Y/n moved closer to him, resting on his chest and looking out at the fields of flowers and grass.
“Thank you.”
“For what my dear?” Y/n asked. Turning their body to face Loki.
“For choosing me.”
“I will always choose you. You know why?” They asked, even though they had no intention to let him answer. “Because you are fearless. You are brave. You are loyal. You are strong. Because you are Loki. And my Loki is loved, my Loki is handsome and beautiful, my Loki is human. My Loki can do anything.”
Tears welled up in his eyes. The love radiating off of them is too much for him. They lifted their hand and wiped off the tears that fell without his knowledge. He leaned into their touch.
“I love you so much, Y/n.” Loki’s voice soft.
“And I love you.” They pulled him into a kiss, sweet and passionate. “Now, get that beast. And come find me.”
His magic came out stronger too.
As their enchantment combined Alioth froze in the air. It's dark clouds are now lightened with green.
Sylvie opened her eyes first, a strong exhale left her lips. She looked over at Loki, his eyes still closed. A tear rolling down softly.
“Open your eyes.” She requested. Slowly he opened his eyes, and saw what he did. Saw what they did.
Former Alioth’s clouds parted ways revealing a castle of some kind. It looked old and abandoned. Sylvie looked at Loki, Loki looked at her. The two shared a nob and walked forward. Hand in hand.
One long thought as they approached their next challenge.
‘I will find you.’
