peridots-reblogs hey part of the 4%! i have never EVER encountered anyone with my first name. not even online. i never find any mention of it unless i look it up so it's never pronounced right first try? like it isn't even hard it's three vowels guys. at least they usually get two right there's a name with a similar spelling that's much more common and sometimes it's miswritten as that. which is unfortunate cause it's the name of a famous person i do Not Like anyway my last name's more common but obviously non-white to the point we have to pronounce it wrong to get it spelled right
