Pepe Camaya
Another furry (or in this case, feathery) OC of mine!
He's a parrot who loves sports, he's a really positive and cheerful guy but he's also quite naive and a bit sensitive.
He is pansexual.
And his favorite color is green 💚
Some animal skull studies I did awhile ago

The Kakapo
Fun Fact: The Kakapo, (also known as the Owl Parrot) are the only flightless parrot in the world, along with being the heaviest living species of parrot, with the males weighing in at 4.4 - 8.8 lbs on average. They can live up to 95 years of age.
Unfortunately, this species is critically endangered, with there only being 142 living Kakapo in sanctuaries. Fortunately, conservation efforts have been raising their population, but they’re still short of numbers. Every Kakapo though has a name, which can be seen here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_kakapo
Pretty pretty please can you draw a little parakeet or parrot? It's gonna look so cute in your style :0
Of course :3
It's been quite a while since I've done any art like this but it was some fun practice.
Commission!
Finished commission for a friend on Discord! Tbh love how it came out even though it was hard to finish due to university and assignments BUT I am happy to show the final results!
Watercolour isn't really the medium I think suits this parrot/toucan ambigram, but I felt like using watercolour today so here's the finished result. The cherries/mushrooms were doodles I had in my sketchbook that I've finally found a use for.
I have already picked a favourite, but I wanted to show off the different designs I tried out for my ambigram birds. I needed both characters to be recognisable and also have personality, which is tricky when they are the same drawing.
A toucan that looks like a parrot upside down (or vice versa).
Thank goodness for tracing paper, although I am considering moving my ambigrams to something digital if it makes them easier to replicate rotated, which I will have to do if I follow through on my ideas to make a reversible comic strip.
