This just be my opinion but I’m afraid to share it tbh. I feel like Imma be attacked. But I don’t see how it’s wrong. Maybe it’s just me?? But others could see it that way but not everyone does. I don’t. I don’t even really see it as a design choice. I just see it as a physical trait. I see a bunch of people drawn like this and they aren’t even black a lot of the time. Idk, this just my opinion, please be open minded and don’t attack me. If you want just educate me and tag me cuz Im really tryna see others perspective on this. 

Also when I draw my OCs I dont necessarily draw it like this but I do shade it like the last one. And they aren’t black. So like, if that’s wrong please tell me how

Hey jsyk it’s 2018 and if you’re still drawing characters with big lips like THIS, even if they’re pale/not black, it’s fucking racist. Stop doing it.

No excuses. “It’s a stylistic choice!” It’s a RACIST stylistic choice.

“Idk how else to draw big lips!” That’s because you relied on racist caricatures and are a bad artist. Teach yourself. Learn. If you’re not willing to do that, then you are a bad, racist artist.

“But it’s part of the character design!” Yeah, and it’s racist. If it’s your OC, then change it. If it’s not your OC, make the right choice and draw them with normal looking bigger lips instead of this racist monstrosity.

And if this post makes you uncomfortable because it’s calling you out for stuff you’ve done, good. Fix it. Own up to it. Grow.

If you see this and you’re first thought is to defend this: you are racist. You are part of the problem. Congrats. Now work on yourself and unlearn that.

valentine woes (p.t 1)

Vee and Astro decided to share with each other their valentines, which may or may not involve a certain ammonite. Luckily they’ll settle this in a calm manner.

Just rewatched Captain America: Civil War and its so fucking obvious how wrong Tony is at all points throughout the film. So here is a list of shit he does in the movie that pisses me off extra (not im chronological order):

- Signs the Sokovia accords and then hunts down his buddies for breaking, AND THEN HE BREAKS THEM HIMSELF. Also he forces everyone to sign the accords due to the guilt he feels.

- Blackmails a 15 year old into fighting two super-soldiers and a girl who controls matter (not exactly sure what her powers are but you know that im talking about Wanda).

- Locks Wanda up in the compound against her will.

- Asks Vision to shoot down Sam, Vision misses and hits Rhodey. Then he gets mad at Sam and shoots him in the chest when he comes down to check on him. Like that shot was meant for Sam and it would probably have hurt him so much more, seeing as he is not in full armor, and I strongly doubt that Tony would have stopped and checked on Sam.

- And then he attacks Bucky like crazy after finding out he killed his parents, which would be completely valid and understandable except for the fact that Bucky did it under mind control. Which Steve tells him.

- And then theres the end fight, where he is doing anything but pulling his punches, maybe hes pulling them a little for Steve (I wouldn’t be too sure of that). He shoots his blaster thingies at their bare skin.

Look i used to be a Tony fan, and then i grew up. I know that not everyone agrees, but these are the problems that i find with him in this movie.
